Baby Jogger City Mini GT Single $548.99 @ Toys R Us

90

For those, like me, looking for a baby jogger mini GT. Very well reviewed pram, that has been cheaper in the past, although good deal for those without the benefit of waiting for potential liquidation of toys r us!

Available in black or grey.

We need a Xiaomi to release a pram.

It would cost half the price and it would have bluetooth!

We have the 2016 version of this pram (bought it on Amazon US) - have to say it is very sturdy and comfortable for the child, but is very heavy and bulky with the wheels on.

We ended up using a travel pram we have a lot more just because it was lighter and more compact.

Also, I wouldn't get a 3-wheel pram anymore - they have a tendency to fall sideways if you don't navigate curbs correctly.

    Wata rip

    • Prams are a massive rip off, when we were looking there were models for $2k+, but unfortunately you have to cough up if you want something to last, $550 isn't too bad and this brand is pretty good and will tolerate the inevitable abuse.

  • bought my from amazon us. even after shipping it was still over 100 bux cheaper.

  • Surprised to see the less than favourable feedback above. Imho this is a safe bet, ticks as many boxes as any.

My only feedback would be price… I suspect it can be picked up for less if you can wait it out e.g. last July was $399 at Toys'r'Us https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/319021

I cringe whenever I see a mother running with her baby in one of these. I didn't even realise they designed prams for this purpose.

This particular pram isn’t designed for jogging. It’s just the brand name

    • Name is so deceiving!

Do you also cringe when you see a fat arse mum who badly let herself go after birth pushing around her fat arse kids?

I bought the 2014 version back when it was newly released for $370 or something crazy like that (AUD price matched). This pram has rubber wheels that are so sturdy, you dont even need a fourth wheel :)
It does weigh in at almost 10kg so a tad on the heavy, bulky side. A dream to fold away with just a single flip and no removing of anything needed.

One thing though - PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS PRAM FOR A RUN. IT IS NOT DESIGNED FOR RUNNING/JOGGING, DESPITE THE NAME. IF YOU REALLY NEED TO TAKE YOUR KID ON YOUR RUN, THE MANUFACTURER HAS A DIFFERENT MODEL WITH BIGGER WHEELS SUITABLE FOR FASTER SPEEDS.

I also cringe every time I see a parent take this for jogs/runs, especially at the Bay Run.

    • Yep. It's child abuse.

    • We bought it when it was crazy cheap on Amazon when dollar was high too (2014). Fantastic pram. Still using it with my first and now second kid, great accessories and most manoeuvrable one I've used to date.

I will never understand people who go running with prams. Running is the best time to get alone time away from kids! Can't believe people go running with this pram either, that's just negligent.

  • Total rip off and over the top we bought up 3 kids in the last 10 years using the same cheap and cheerful 4 wheeled pram that we got from Lifeline for 20 bucks! Seriously you can buy a car for not much more.
