    I see this is made in Australia from full grain leather, but is Australian leather or imported leather ( big difference in qualities )?

    Good quality leather can be made in Australia, Germany, Italy, England, USA and South Africa, not so good from India and China.

      It's all about the tanning process. Preferably you want leather from Italy, Spain, France or USA (probably more but I forgot).

        Howe leather and others from Australia including small ones like Greenhalgs Tannery http://www.gretannery.com.au/ from on the way home where I used to live many moons ago all used to/still make top quality leather.

        Your right about the tanning process, that's why I stated those places ( left out France as not so well known ) as they use good practice.

        My dad worked with European and Australian leather, and my very first job was working with leather in a nearly 100 year old Ballarat saddlery.

        Agree with that comment re $100 v $10. I just hate it when they palm of the $10 or even $20 leather for $80 to $100 and lie about it.

      Like my comment earlier, could be made in Australia with cheap imported leather from India or elsewhere. Maybe even made O.S. as companies Do Sometimes stretch the truth lol.

      All our jacket are designed and made in Australia. We use full grain lambskin leather for our jacket
