That's not really a problem, you just don't get as many recharges if you port out early ;)
just turn off auto recharge after 2nd month
Will jumping from OVO to Lebara/Kogan Mobile and then back to OVO work?
This may technically work - but it is against the terms of the offering and your service may be terminated if we see this as the offer is for new customers
Maybe make the same 50% deal for your loyal customers? Moved over to OVO a year ago and not a single deal/discount yet.
They also introduced the referral system just after I got 2 friends onto them…

The $ value on calls is no longer competitive now, the others start to offer unlimited calls.

Depends which one your looking at. For me, the mini plan looks like great value. $5 for unlimited texting, 1gb of data for basic map/web searches, and a small amount of credit (enough for 12 15m phone calls) is perfect for most basic phone users
Normally this plan is $9.95.. $200 of calls and unlimited txt 1GB data.
Amaysim $10 .. unlimited calls, unlimited txt 1GB.

edit: also Amaysim bites, and this is per 30 days while amaysim is per 28 days. That's an extra 7% in time allowance.

If I connect an ovo sim through a 7/11 store then select auto recharge,would month 2 and 3 then be half price
BEWARE if you are porting. I would definitely avoid OVO like a plague.
Started the porting this morning at 9am, in 5min my old service was disconnected and the service has yet to be activated. A ticket was raised and all they could do is ask me to wait for 24hrs. Now I am out of any sort of phone service for 3hrs and they cannot even do anything to escalate or expedite a simple porting issue.
Why was my service deactivated even before they have activate/setup the port?
Such a terrible experience with OVO.
I have had ovo.ported from lebara to ovo.
I think ovo and kogan are the Best whether it's service or product.
