Just another FREE app. The advantage of this one you may, or may not, find in its SOS signal ready setup for emergency situations..

  Why does a flashlight app require permission to access the camera to take photos and video?

    The led is part of the camera permissions.

      "Control Flashlight" comes under "Other" permissions, not Camera.

        But the LED is probably part of the chipset for the camera.

  Installed it to telstra tempo phone, blacked out the screen. Beware…

    That's an odd warning. Do you mean permanently or just while the app was running. A reboot didn't fix it?

      Reboot required. I guess only useful for high-end phone.

    You mean the phone was too crap to handle it.

    Why would you even put it on a Telstra Tempo any way as it doesn't even have a camera LED light which is required for this program to even operate.
