    Aren't the NOR ones better?

    • +1

      i see what you did there, its NOR logical

    • I realise you're just being a smartarse but NOR flash is a thing that exists. It's just not really useful for making a PC SSD out of.

        Have you tried?

        • +2

          Yes, but I kept dropping the electrons on the floor. They're fiddly little buggers.

          @Procyon:

          NOR flash provides systems with the fastest bootable memory solution, is easy to implement, and requires minimal ongoing management due to the underlying cell structure. Because of the cell structure, NOR flash is inherently more reliable than other solutions.

          I rest my case…

          It's only a matter of time…

          My first computer only had 4K of RAM.

        • @jv:
          You always have to brag. I dreamt of having even 2K

    Shipping is an extra $8.95, it actually is cheaper from amazon.com (per PlushToys note)

    Edit - bought from amazon.com, total including shipping is USD 125.34 which the MasterCard website tells me is AUD 161.49, which comes out to $7 cheaper than this. Enough for two coffees!
