Weider Sit Up Board 130TC $56 Delivered @ 1-Day

60

This one comes to me while I'm thinking about how to stop my beloved belly from growing too fast.

Not really sure if it's a true deal, but found it at $129 + shipping at another online store, and Weider seems to be a good brand, doesn't it?

Running and cycling are far better ways to lose weight and the former, for the most part is free

$56 is a lot to pay for nothing more than a board on a stand

plus you can do situps on the floor

    • i agree with running/cycling.. i (cycle/run/cycle) 3 times a week.. love it.

however.. running is pretty expensive for me.. $1000 for knee surgery.. despite $230 worth of shoes i buy every 3-6months (i now spend $90 on those shoes buying online from UKs wiggle.. screw you footlocker =p).

once my joints are gone I'll probably switch to cycle/swim/cycle.

But it's a bargain (compared to standard price), and that's what this site is about.

go to the park climb up the monkey bars and hook your legs in and you got yourself a sit up piece.

how to stop my beloved belly from growing too fast.

stop eating too much and do some exercise….

    • Thanks, my problem's actually not eating too much, but sitting too much. Btw, I think I still need some special treatment for the front part of the body beside general exercise.

      • +2

Generally situps are going to develop muscles underneath any weight carried on the stomach. High energy activities that cause the body to burn fat are what reduces weight.

        • In other words, even with the sit up bench, it won't burn the fat so it won't make you develop six pack as long as the fat is still there.

      • +2

        weight training can help overall,
but for weight loss/fat removal, burn more calories than you take in….

        • +1

And weights will increase your metabolic rate more than cardio, which will keep the caloric burn going.

        • ….and high intensity interval training will help even more….

        A tattoo?

  • 30-45 mins per day of dedicated exercise will do you (and your belly) just fine

  • +1

Buy a heart-rate monitor and go walking. Set your heart rate in the burn fat zone and you'll be laughing.

  • +2

This device can offer something that a bare floor cannot give - a nagging motivation to get off your butt and exercise.

    • +5

Plus the bonus excercise when you haul it (almost unused) out onto the footpath for the next council rubbish cleanup!

  • eBay is the perfect place to buy one of these in perfect condition because of limited use

  • +1

Don't think of it as a stomach. Think of it as an ab (singular).

    • but it can be oblique (multiple)

  • Sweet, very cheap. Not everyone buys this to lose weight, using it to strengthen core.
