Always!! after I made an order yesterday.

    • +5

      name does not check out.

      • +23

No, they checked out yesterday, that's why they're bummed.

    • +2

You can always re-order and return the more expensive order for free :)

    • +2

Reorder and return the old order. Or try hitting up their contact - they some times will adjust it, but reckon it'd probably be easier to just reorder.

    • Can you tell me when you're going to purchase something? gives me some preparation in knowing what I want to buy before the sale starts.

  • +1

Been waiting a while for another code. Cheers.

  • Any AU brands besides 2XU and Billabong?

    • +10

Just checked my Billabong T-shirt and it says - Made in Vietnam.

'Australian brand' is usually used to mean Australian-owned, not Australian-made. The Iconic, being an Australian site, is much better in this regard, but I'm still nonetheless interested in knowing how many said brands are stocked at Asos.

  • Wtf at all these clothing brands asos stocks that I never heard of

  • Some of the stuff on Asos is a rip, but thank you OP for the code much appreciated.

    • I noticed this too this morning. Some UK brands which are available locally are much cheaper than their supposed full price. Still good anyways.

  • Are those boots for walking.. quality wise :)

  • +1

Only valid to Au or NZ site. Sadly, most things I like are always 20% higher than the cheapest site.

    • I changed the country to UK, so it removed the AUS pricing, and went to checkout the promo code works

      • +2

Oh it valid on deliveries to Australia and New Zealand. So it work on every site. Cheers.

      • This is great. Do you think they would still give free returns?

        • Yes.

  • +6

remember to change to UK. Dont shop through AU portal…

Just checked saw Hugo Boss belt, $141AUD

CHanged to UK, it became 65ounds, whihc is $120 aud

    • +2

i thought they fixed it where if you change the region it adjusts the price now and it makes little to no difference?

      • +1

It depends on the item. Some items it makes no difference, and on others it's big $$$ savings.

      • What makes it even more dodgy is they dont remove VAT, when you show your address as Australia.

    • +1

Is it still free returns to the UK?

    • +1

      not always the case.

      I'm looking at this

      http://www.asos.com/au/adidas-originals/adidas-originals-i-5…

in aud its $126, when changed to uk its 70gbp which is approx $128aud

    • I normally do this too, but this time I'm thinking of sticking to AU since cashback balances it out..

  • Thanks for posting TA, always love seeing an ASOS sale because they sell Pull & Bear, it's awesome clothing for cheap. Can't get it in aus easily so have to revert to ASOS.

    • Hows the quality of hoddie and joggers ?

  • Of course when I have placed an order recently this happens!

And i can't reorder it as it's now out of stock.. sigh

    • +4

if it is not in stock, no point to regret then, just enjoy the new items :)

  • My only frustration with ASOS is their sizes changed season to season. The same roll sleeve shirt medium is huge on me this year. Can't return for mo may back due to the structure of the discount I used from last sale.

    • You talking about their house brand ASOS? I think it's dependent on which manufacturer they go with for that particular run. It's a pain in the arse. Their shoes are also very inconsistent. Sometimes a size 6 UK is a 40 EU for shoes, but other times it's 39. Frustrating.

  • +7

If anyone is planning to buy north face buy it from the US site, some jackets are $320 on AUS website yet change to US and it works out to around $176 AUD with code instead of $256 on AUS site

  • +1

thank for some of the tips here guys gunna try them out

  • +3

I feel like there needs to be a guide for shopping with ASOS. It's ridiculous.

    • what is the ridiculous part?

      • +1

The various tricks you need to employ in order to get the best price.

        • +1

Ah, well that's if you're trying to be frugal.

ASOS otherwise, is a very easy to use online shopping website.

        • @ExpressCoffee: When there can be differences of over $10 per item, I think it becomes warranted. Also, we are on a bargains website. ;)

  • When ordering through the UK site, will paying for my order with paypal negate any savings through currency discrepancies? ie. do I need to pay using a fee-free credit card?

    • +1

Pay using paypal with a fee-free credit card (ensure you select your credit card provider will do the conversion). Best way.

  • Anyone know if a size 16 womens crewneck jumper would fit like an XL mens?

    • might be between a L-XL

  • You can get free shipping with no minimum spend if you buy through Shopback, you will get extra $5 cash back if you spend under $40.

  • Hows the quality of the clothing from the ASOS brand?

    • Depends what type of clothing. From my experience, style and cut wise are good fit, but quality is hit and miss.

    • Basic t-shirts and polos are great. I've still got some from 2/3 years ago and wear them everyday. Haven't tried anything else though

  • -3
