  • Thanks for the deal!

I have had Microsoft branded hardware in the past, and have always been quite impressed with its durability and quality.

Has anyone had experience with these keyboards? I've been looking for an ergonomic keyboard recently and this seems to have the curved keyboard design. Would it be good for someone who suffers from RSI, or should I look at more specific options? My options are usually limited, as I have a Mac, but I am willing to use a PC based keyboard if needed.

    • i have the ergo one, it's nice, I assume this one is NOT ergo cuz it's not.
the mouse sux tho, get the ms ergo set

    • I have one. Got mine last year from 9289 for the same price, maybe a little cheaper. Good enough set, built solid and feels ok. The range for wireless is generally good, but it worked intermittently if plugged into the back, so I have my usb key running off a extension. Mouse feels nice, and it has the back/forward button. Main issue with the mouse is the scroll wheel. May be something I have in settings, but scrolling is very slow one second too fast the next. It also scrolls small distances sometimes without warning. Makes playing L4D2 difficult.
All up though a good set for the price

  • how often do the batteries need to be changed ?

    • i have this keyboard (the batteries last around 6 months for the keyboard) and around 4 months for the mouse

why does every post with a mouse keyboard etc have to list officeworks price match sheesh

    • +2

Because officeworks doesn't stock every mouse and keyboard. I for one appreciate the effort that people do in checking that officeworks stocks them and I'm sure a lot of others do too.

Other than the fact that it points out how to save a few extra $$ while also providing a reference point for the price match ?
