My experience is these work well in undercover car parks. Anywhere else = useless.

I have used similar mirror mounted screens with the reversing screen embedded within the mirror before and they are not great if bright outside. I switched to a unit with a separate screen on the side and it is way better. Unfortunately, this is quite a few years ago now and I can no longer find the item on ebay.

OK, found the same unit from another website. No idea if it was the same ebay seller or not.
