SNESPi Case w/ Fan for Raspberry Pi $8.99 US (~$11.74 AU) Shipped @ Zapals

320

Similar to the NESPi Case posted earlier this month except this one includes a fan. It has a functional LED light and full access to the SD Card slot and other ports. It's suitable for use with a Raspberry Pi 3, 2 and B+.

These are also great for making your RetroPie build feel more realistic.

Free shipping is included with an additional 5% cashback at Cashrewards.

  • Got one before, the quality is good for the money but the power and reset buttons are just decoration.

    • Thanks edited.

    • Fake power and reset buttons are a deal breaker for me.

      • There's a new model "nespi+" that actually has a functional button to shut down the pi :)

    • Just buy a power pack with an in-line switch

Yeah need a Super Famicom/AU/EU SNES version, the US SNES is just plain ugly

  • Great price Clear, makes it very hard to resist buying…

But I already own 5 cases and only one Pi 3 :(

I'm the opposite. I have half a dozen Pi's without cases.

What are you using them for? I have two and other then Retropie, I struggle to decide what I could use the other one for.

If you want to learn programming, I suggest installing kano.

        • We're all looking for a good reason to have more Pi.

Pihole, OpenVPN, next cloud, etc are all good uses

I've been using one of mine with Home Assistant, helps me put all those Yeelights and Xiaomi kits to good use.

Obviously you should join the PI robot wars…

Or you know, download the pi mags and get inspired for other projects!

          official pi mag page
          back issues

Lots of projects to be found in the Project books and ISSUE 50 OCT 2016 projects.

edit: Punny enough they are called MagPis not Pi Mags.

        • @dotBait:
Thanks, had completely forgotten about Pi Hole. Can't get in trouble with the household if it's serving a useful purpose.

        • @grrrr:
Pi Robot wars..now that would make for an interesting project!

          Thanks for the suggestion guys.

        • I use them in medical applications through work, but for home I do a lot of tinkering in combination with arduino. Some of my more applicable uses would be Pi-hole, Home Assistant and a TorrentBox.

        • So last night I found the formula pi robot car racing. If only I had more time, I would be totally into that.

  • So do we need a separate Pi for each use? (openVPN, PiHole etc)

You can normally run more than one project off a single Pi. You're basically running a Linux OS (Raspbian) off the SD card which can have multiple programs running.
