Good deal. Bought the Acer V 15 nitro for 1329 which has same specs. I noticed overheating problem (gets immensely hot), low battery life (lasts upto 4 hrs for regular use and dies in 1h30m while gaming or watching movies. Plus you need to keep the power plugged in for high performance gaming else it lags :/

So not really a good deal lol

Lagging during gaming if not plugged in is typical of all gaming laptops. My Dell 7757 puts out about half the frames when running on battery vs plugged in. Battery simply cannot supply enough juice.

you can always change the power options profile to Performance. No lag, but the battery will take an even bigger hit.

Might be worth keeping it in mind if you want to smash out 30-60 minutes of lag free gaming

    • The battery sounds normal for a gaming laptop

If it was a 1060 or above, then it'd be a decent deal.
Not so much with a 1050ti nowadays.

      agreed

    • Yup - I would want an RX580 and above or 1060 and above to really game on any new AAA titles.
