Great if you live close by, otherwise this may be a better deal with eBay 5% off https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Western-Digital-WD-Green-120GB-2… - $55.10 delivered.

Yeah deal is really for local..

    • Wanting to place an order to pickup today. But they say 2 days to processor before local pickup… plus they'll charge $0.90 to pay - no cash on pickup option. Bit frustrating. Will probably just wait and pickup something else when more convenient. Had massive issues with CentreCom years ago with a custom build machine - wouldn't do that again, and it's annoying even just for something simple they don't make it easy

      • 90c!!! Noooooooo!!!!!

        • loosewad? it's a small amount sure, but don't see the justification of such surcharges. i'd rather it be included in the principle price to state upfront what the true cost of the item is

        • @AvvY:

Agree, but ozbargainers have no principles. It's all about the prices ;)

  • Pickup, it's a great deal. I got a Kingston 120GB A400 for 49$ delivered from Futu with the 20% off code.

The Kingston has a much better write performance and IO speed which means normal day to day stuff will be slightly faster. Also, better longevity.

    • Doing a noob PC gaming build an plan on getting a couple of SSDs, with this be good to install Windows on?

yeah. SSD for OS, HDD for storage.

i've set up half a dozen macbooks this way.- awesome way to revive great but aging tech.

  • Spewing, not sure why I cant pick up from my closest store. Ah well.
