This perfume is best for camping.

The duty free places ought to be reported to the ACCC. Ridiculous!

  • +2

    Good price. Thanks OP.

mmmm pretty sure it'll be hard to find stock anywhere

    • +1

Not necessarily. Chemist Warehouse consistently make most of their sub-$20 fragrances unavailable online.

  • Thanks OP,got one
St kilda Vic still have stock, last one

You may as well spray Brut on yourself

  • +1

Hmmm…. Everyone is going to be smelling like this now - i'm going to have to change fragrances again, same thing happened to me in the late 90's when that pink joop became the $20 special and stayed at that price.

    • +3

$20 fragrances is better than the $5 Lynx cans… so happy for them to make these fragrances $20.

      • $5 Lynx cans

        Nope. $3 mate!

        • +3

Even worse… now they will just smell like air freshner or bug spray.

Nearly died in high school when all the boys sprayed their Lynx cans after gym class.

Only kid there with Davidoff Cool Water.

          @jlogic:

You must be a rich kid. In the 90s Davidoff Cool Water was $125 a bottle.

        • @HandsomeMonkey: Birthday money and duty free. One trip overseas per year when going through year 8 through to 11. Cheaper at overseas airports when you factored in exchange rates and your parents wallets are looser when in holiday mode.

        • @jlogic: You should tell your parents to adopt me :)

    • Ahhhh yeah the old Joop… the ladies loved it.

    • haha omg that's the last one I bought, pink Joop! I thought I'd be smart and bought the bigger one and when I cleaned out the cupboard the other day it was no longer pink. Still had 7/8ths of the bottle. I wonder if this is a good replacement.

  • I like the original one, how does this compare?

    • I prefer the original for office wear, I interchange this one for casual wear during Autumn and Spring.

      • +1

The real question is whether it pulls the ladies or not

Can confirm gf likes it and Stacy from accounting gives the thumbs up!

        • +5

          @hobo88:

If Stacy likes it I'm buying it. All the Stacys I know are pretty hot. Same with women called Danielle.

@hobo88: but… Stacy's mom has got it goin' on :)

Still plenty available (at least in the Brisbane store) so I wouldn't worry about it going out of stock.
Fragrantica gives it a 3.9 star rating (most $30 colognes average around 3 stars), so it's pretty good value. A good all year round cologne that lasts along time apparently.

Great. How does this compare to pour homme? Aside from 'intensity', how are the scenting notes different? How's sillage and longevity in comparison?

    • -1

it's 19.99 and you are concerned about notes, sissylage and longevity. get out of here. by the time you figure it out, the ozbargainers wouldve clean the stock up!!

      • +2

Nothing wrong to be an informed customer regardless of the price tag, that's what ozbargain is for. Hope you had a kick being such an a$$ tho.

    • Lady in store only knew that it was 'stronger' but was unable to comment on the notes.

All the details are here(from a general vote); mid to heavy sillage, long lasting and citrus-spicy scents. I feel it would be nice for winter as a warm, pleasant soothing scent.

    • +1

Also not sure what you mean by compared to Pour homme, (that just means 'for men) as this is a pour homme

      • By looking at it there is a isn't much to differentiate the two except the color of the boxes. Haha

      • Oops. I meant leau d issey. Also noticed the rrp on intense and bleu is much less that the original leau d issey.

        • Ahhh that makes sense, wouldn't worry too much about rrp because they're both very good for the price (the bleu rated higher actually) so more a personal preference

  • +1

There are two varieties of product on sale. The other one, not pictured, is in a bluish box. No tester, sadly, was available.

    • +2

Tested both just now, liked the Bleue more.

      • Perhaps this explains why there are fewer of the blue ones. Thanks.

      • In fact my chemist warehouse sold out of the intense, have 3 bottles of bleu left. Maybe I'll give that a shot.

    • +6

I've been using both for the last 11 years. Blue one is stronger than the black one and attracts more girls :) I use black one during the day and blue one at night.

        wow, pro tip

  • Dfo Spencer st melbs - no stock
Bourke st next to h&m - no stock
Mychemist on Elizabeth st had 4 left

  • Are they cheap cause their watered down or close to use by date?

    • Smell good to me

  • I’m at the city store opposite Event Cinemas George St. They don’t have any Intense, but I also see a Issey Miyake Bleu for Men 75ml for $19.99 as well.

  • +1

For anybody looking in melbourne, every store in cbd is out of stock. The closest stores that still have some are st kilda - 1 left, ascot vale - 4 left, moonee ponds - 5 left. Cheers
