    has anyone tried this before? can it handle the bigger/heavier phones? we have a different one that supposedly will work with my wife's iphone 7+ but the ball friction(?) is not enough to carry the weight. thanks in advance!

      mine holds a Huawei mate 9 with a gel case really well. clamp is really really strong too.
