  • Manufacturer's Warranty: 12 Months

Aren't phones covered by a 24 month warranty? Or is that just handsets you buy under contract?

    • +1

It's sold by TGG so warranties don't mean anything since you are covered by ACL.

    • Have to check cos different for different manufacturers/ how you buy it

    • that was Apple and battery warranty as they are non replaceable so they got stung by ACCC or Consumers Affairs who said reasonable lifespan for a phone battery was 2 years …. now most phones are non-user replaceable but I haven't heard of someone complaining about sammy, etc , so would need to read fine print on warranty if that flowed through as a law and if its batteries or whole phones and across the board.

  • Perfectly adequate phone with OK camera . Not as stellar value as the early G phones .
Well built reliable and has Android 8 but I doubt it will ever see any more major updates . Motorola really have taken a dive on the updates .

    • now std 2 years OS updates, so current OS when phone shipped and one new.

      • Current OS = Android 7.1? One new = Oreo? So no more updates after 8.0?
