They claim a free shipping option, but it was unclear if this is for Australia, and even with this it is still $831.60 which is $40.60 more expensive than this deal. Okay, so 10% off via an eBay promotion and free express shipping from SOS.

The eBay promotion seems to be covering more of a discount that the store itself.

  Plus an extra $18 off, because we're $20 cheaper than retail to begin with. And shipping was $8.45, now free. That's before the free upgrade to Express Post. Altogether, buying before midnight tonight will save $88, compared to tomorrow. And then we'll still be lower than B&H, but you'll pay $88 more, and shipping probably won't be free, certainly Express Post won't be free, I'd expect that to change by sometime tomorrow.

  Grad filters are fun to play with. I've got a set of cokin which are tonnes cheaper but prob not as nice. But I get away with it for my occasional landscapes

    I was a fan of these for my landscapes too - have around 20 of the graduated ones. Now I find it far more effective to simply take a cluster of images, say 7 or so, automatically with ev of -3 to +3, and then I can do far more in post than with the filters. ND filters can remain quite useful as well as polarizers, but the usefulness of my graduated grey, green, blue and so on is dubious now.

      ND filters are great for long exposures during daylight. No matter what you try you can't do it without an ND filter.

      @potplanty:Although I do continue to use my ND filters I have found I can get not dissimilar looks in the final image of say waves on a beach by stacking several images taken over a comparable period of time - say 30 images over 1 second or 60 over 2 seconds. It's a handy technique to use if you haven't time to fuss around with filters or if they are inaccessible.
