Competition is good for this cashback sector.
Although I've found they're tracking to be relable, Cashrewards has been taking us for a ride for too long.
Which is hilarious because the tracking is done by the affiliate networks themselves and not the cashback providers. In this case the eBay Partner Network is doing the tracking.
My comment doesn't refer to the tracking but the percentage returned. It has been amongst the lowest of the affiliate cashback sites.
As for the rate. ShopBack are doing these promotions at a loss to attract new customers during their AU launch. It's a good strategy….. just look at Cashreward's Birthday sales.
Cashrewards for eBay are NOT reliable!
Quite the opposite, and not worth the hassle of protracted process of submitting receipts/invoices when they don't track properly or deliberately, for their miserly 1% cash back!

Can you explain how this works. You use the mobile app to get the 5.4%. Log into ShopBack, click on the link to the ebay offer then log into ebay and purchase items. Is that correct?Correct! Go into ShopBack app > tap on homepage banner featuring 5.4% eBay promo > tap 'Go to deal' for the 5.4% cashback promo > log into ebay and purchase items as usual. Please note: do not tap on the prompt to open in eBay app!

I think it says it can take up to 48 hours. With cashrewards, I found that it can take a couple days for ebay sales
(though that 15% menulog from the other day went through pretty much instantly :)

That has been an absolute boon for Cashrewards in our household.Hi I’m having trouble completing my purchase. The item is in euros but when I go to checkout it uses the automatic conversion and I can’t switch it in your app to let the credit card do it. Can you please assist. No point getting 5% cash back if I pay much more with PayPal/eBay dodgy conversion rate.
Be great if the rep responded, only 49 minutes left on the deal… I’ve confirmed it can be changed in desktop site. Will proceed to complete with the 2% return but I’ll be contacting you for the remaining 3.4% assuming I don’t already get it :(

It is not very clear from shopback and it's a confusing process, with a lot of loopholes to get out of the cashback.

My ebay tracking finally came through at about 2am; biggest of which was $10.20 that has an approval estimate of 8th July. Decent little bonus, especially on top of the 10% off code
Purchase for eBay sale 4/5 now being tracked, status is "pending"
None of my purchases have tracked yet.
All of them state 2 day tracking, all of them well past 2 days.
No Adblock, no jumping around, all purchases made in-app.
No tracking for purchases made by my wife either on a different machine and different internet connection.My purchase has shown up, but only at 2% cash back, not the 5.4% promised. Apparently I clicked through the eBay store link and not the banner, which is a bit of a p1sstake. Looks like I'll be sticking with CashRewards…

Yep, I did get the 5.4%, $29.68 total tracked. It's noted as "pending" avaliable 3rd July. I've also had my 10% chemist warehouse purchase tracked as well.
I followed the instructions to the letter though.Nothing tracked and they rejected my claim today.
Not happy.
There is no reason why it shouldn't have tracked in the first place (on mobile ie no adblocking with their app and their browser and returned to the app following payment) and the claims process must be just there for show. They rejected listing 3 reasons, none of which apply.
Never had a problem with Cashrewards. Shopback could offer 100% cashback, but it's meaningless if they don't pay out.Yeah mine got rejected with a list of T&C's. So I emailed them asking why and they have spent the last week and a half making up new excuses.
I downloaded their app off 4g signed up for an account clicked through the specified 5.4% ebay banner to make the purchase and checkout with PayPal. (also confirmed the T&C with a shopback person here to make sure everything would be fine.)
Now they said I purchased before the special was offered even though I clicked their 5.4% banner (eBay emails they asked for show my time zone (Perth 2 hours behind aest)
Now they are telling me I didn't have a shopback account till the next day so I sent them their welcome email they sent me confirming date and time ;)
Timezone and different date formats are confusing them
But I'm feeling another reason not to payout is coming. It's defiantly not worth the effort for cash back expecially @ 1 or 2%
