Dell has just launched the latest XPS 13 9370 models in Australia, and here is sample config as given on title

The sample config as given on the title

  • Intel Core i5-8250U Processor
  • 8GB LPDDR3 1866MHz RAM
  • 256GB PCIe SSD
  • 13.3" FHD Display
  • 52WHr Battery
  • 2 x Thunderbolt 3 with PowerShare & DC-In
  • 1 x USB-C 3.1 with PowerShare DC-in & DisplayPort
  • 1 x microSD Card Reader
  • 1 x Headset Jack
  • 1 x Noble Lock Slot
  • 1 Year Premium Support Onsite Service

The RRP is $2,099, after applying LOVEMUM coupon code, the price is $1,784.15. It you take the cashback into account, the final price is $1,784.15 - $214.10 = $1,570.05, that is approx. 25% off the RRP.

Here is another sample config on XPS Gaming Desktop

  • Intel® Core™ i7 8700 (6-Core/12-Thread, 12MB Cache, up to 4.6GHz Boost)
  • 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 at 2666MHz
  • 256GB M.2 SATA SSD (Boot) + 2TB 7200RPM SATA HDD 6Gb/s (Storage)
  • NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1060 with 6GB GDDR5

The checkout price is $1,759. If you take into account of the cashback, $1,759 - $211.08 = $1,547.92, a bit cheaper than regular Dell eBay sale event.

  • Cashback is actually ~$215 🙂

    • Thanks! I must be too sleepy. 🙂

  • Amazing this laptop is still ddr3? I would look at getting a new laptop soon too actually

  • Would the mother's day specials apply for this boosted cashback? Since the site says that it might not qualify with codes not approved by them. And since their coupon section of dell's doesn't really specify, I'm a bit weary.

    • I've contacted ShopBack, and their reply is as follow

We are trying to get confirmation on the code usage with Dell, since it's the weekend, we'll probably get a response on Monday.
Will let you know as soon as we can :)

      • Cool, cool, cooooool. Hope it works out then. Thanks.

        • +3

Finally, the good news from ShopBack…

We've got confirmation that LOVEMUM is stackable with our cashback. We've updated our site with the code.
          Enjoy!

  • +1

So if it does work, does that mean we get the 15% off with LOVEMOM code and the 12% here as cashback?
Forgive the ignorance, have never used shopback before.

    • Would like to know as well, I have only used Cashrewards before.

    • +2

hey guys, confirming that you CAN use the 15% off LOVEMUM code and get 12% cashback via ShopBack. We've updated the onsite with the code usage, so go crazy!

      • Hi Rep, is there any way I can combine this cashback with the Unidays 15% discount for students? Cheers

        • Hey Chipotle, sorry you can't combine cashback with the Unidays discount.

      • Thanks for confirming! Will have a look tonight!

  • Don't seem to be able to alter the graphics card on that spec to a 1070.

  • Looks like LOVEMUM code only works on selected laptops. Would have been killer on the discounted XPS Tower + the cashback.

    • Same here! i have tried to find ANY XPS deal but they all say this code is valid, however does not work on this machine. The only worthwhile one i can see is the XPS with the 20% already off, but it only comes with the 1060 GB…Still this brings it down to roughly $1550, which is a decent deal in comparison…to its normal price at $1679..

  • Is the 12% off based on the full price (before LOVEMUM) or the price you paid (i.e. after 15% off).

    • After the 15% has been applied

    • +1

12% is calculated after the discount.

      EDIT:
XCelR8, you beat me by seconds. 😊

  • Hi, I've been waiting for a good i7, 2 in 1 for around the 1k mark. Is the Inspiron 13 5000 2-in-1 a good deal after 12% cashback?

It's not for gaming and I have a NAS, so drive is no issue. (Note I could also hold off until August for a better deal)

    $1279.00 - 12% = $1125.52

    Thanks!

    Specs:
    i7-8550U (8MB Cache, up to 4.0 GHz) ; 8GB, DDR4, 2400MHz ; Intel® UHD Graphics 620 ; 256GB SSD ; 13.3 FHD (1920x1080) IPS (Touch) ; inc. Pen.

  • If anyone finds a way to get the 9370 in grey for that price could you let me know? I'm really keen on the deal but have had no luck talking to Dell support or calling up JB Hi Fi

  • It looks like the XPS 13 has been increased to $2199 RRP?

    • Nevermind, the difference I can see is the $2099 is Windows 10 Home 64bit whereas $2199 is Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.
      http://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/deals/xps-deals

    • The $2,199 one comes with Win 10 Pro, $2,099 one comes with Win 10 Home.

EDIT: never mind, you already found out.

      • Any real point to the pro version for a home laptop?

        • GPEdit

More control over update delivery. Very annoying on Home. If you don't like your PC resetting on you when you walk away for a few minutes, you want the added control that Pro gives you. Still annoying, but less so.

  • Will the 12% cashback be applied before or after the Dell 'cash off'? I am looking at this XPS 15 for $2099 after $400 cash off:
    http://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/dell-laptops/xps-15/spd/xps-1…

    • After the discount.
