  • It'd be great if we didn't have to sign up to see the deal.

So a rrp north of $1300?

    • Yeah I agree this sounds like an unreasonable "% off".
Unless it's usually $1326 PER NIGHT for this deal, it's not 85% off.

      • I am guessing they assumed you going go each single theme park.
Each park is about $70 per person. 4 people X 3 theme parks by itself is alMost $900 dollars.

Breaky at $30 per head, that's $120, plus rrp for room would be $400 probably at peak time.
        .

    • they got the numerals the wrong way around should be 58% off

  • $199 for 4 @Sea World Gold Coast Family Stay

Family stay??? Not at that price if your kids go to school…

How much is the surcharge ???

  • Children aged 13 or under can stay free when using existing beddings.
Additional adult charge: AUD 30 per person per night.

What is the additional charge for kids aged 14 ?

  • Sounds great but seems a bit hard to get those prices.
"Slight surcharges" hmmm a $60 surcharge = 30% higher price.
For Victoria School holidays - ie dates from 29th June to 28th July - minimum $259/night, most weekends are $299/night ($100 extra = 50% higher)

Unclear how to include kids in the booking. The detail above says it's 2 adults , 2 kids. Do you select the booking for 2 people, or 4 people (I mentioned this because there's a warning on the site that the 4 person option isn't working and clicking 4 people (which I usually do as 2 adults + 2 kids = 4) - makes it another $60 more - $319 per night midweek school holidays.

We just did this this weekend. The room was surprisingly good compared to the last time we stayed. The tv is large and has usb and hdmi access ports underneath to play your own movies. The ac seemed overly warm, the $40 dolphin photo package was good value with 5 or so photos included. Pretty much everything else sucked. Most of the park was closed or broken, including the ramp from the resort into the park (had to walk the long way around with a pram). The photo booths ans even the snack machines were out of order. The food was nowhere near as good as I remember for dinner or breakfast. There's definitely a large range of food, but it just isn't nice, and the juice drinks are warm (softdrink machine is cold). I guess the pool area is ok and the adventure/climbing area was good.

I thought it was good value that we could visit the other parks as well, at the time. the tickets were dated for 5 days, even though we only stayed for two, but were backdated to the day before we booked in. Still not too bad though, until we went to wet and wild and found out half of that park was closed as well. for winter.

    • Great review, cheers!

    • Thanks, was considering this at those prices, but we already have free accom with friends at the GC, and visited Sea World only a couple of months ago, so will probably pass this time.
