Don't seem to be very good but at $49 you're not wasting much.
Can vouch that these are good value for money, at this price point. Noise cancelling is near useless as you'd expect for "on ear" headphones but the sound quality is decent, I use these on my laptop at home happily.
sarahbrisbane: Sorry for the weird question, but do you think the headphones would fit a child? (8 year old) I've been looking for cheap pair of noise-cancelling headphones for my son as we're flying to Europe later in the year. Thanks!
Noise cancelling for on ear is going to be dependant on the seal around the ear. Over ear headphones are what you need for best noise cancelling.
Yeah, thanks - I wouldn't use them myself, but the price of these ones makes them not much more than normal "kids" headphones, which are mostly on-ear too, so the bargain-hunter in me was intrigued!

I'd say they'll probably be too big - I've got a Large head (by Motorcycle Helmet Sizing) and I have these on almost the smallest setting. They extend about 4cm to accommodate bigger heads but the standard non-extended size is very much adult head sized.
