    well if you pay via 5% off GC for a $100 Coles Gift MC; you spend $99.75 (including $5 fee) to get $100 MC + 105 FB points + 1000 FB points.

      Or if you pay with a card with a category bonus for supermarkets like the Amex Plat Edge, you get a higher effective earn rate on your other spend.

  So…if I get this right pay a $5 fee to buy the card to get 1,000 points which is worth … $5. There's no profit in this.

  I have never been able to use a discounted gift card to pay for a gift card.

    Otherwise that offer is better…2000 points or double this for those that want to know immediately. This only covers cost of card, other gives $5 profit.

  ref "Up to a maximum of 10,000 BONUS POINTS will be awarded per flybuys account" so if you use the same targeted card to buy 10 gc in separate transactions you can get 10,000 BONUS POINTS ? if so maybe a good time to stock up using an amex card then use the $100 gift cards to pay the ATO at only a 0.15% card payment fee
