Would it not be more cathartic to gas the German cockroaches?

      Genius. Pure genius.

  • Just wondering are sticky boards allowed for Roaches as they are apparently not allowed for mice or rats?

    • They are sold at Bunnings so I guess so

    • Great Question!! Most pest controllers that treat for German Cockroaches will use Sticky Traps after their initial treatment. They are legal and readily available.

      • Misleading comment - Most pest controllers do not use sticky traps they do not work for eradication. Sticky traps may be used to monitor the severity of a cockroach infestation however they are insufficient to interrupt and terminate the life-cycle of the cockroaches. Reasonably the only function of sticky traps serves to warn of changes in cockroach activity levels ie a failure in pest management and treatment.

Sticky traps are unlikely to trap and kill 100% of egg laying adults necessary to interrupt the 100 day (average) nymph to adult cycle. During that time previously laid eggs will be hatching and other adults will continue to lay eggs. Each egg case can contain up to 50 eggs The result will be a possible reduction in cockroach number BUT a failure to achieve control.

Don't believe this hype, a crack and crevice treatment with a surface space insecticide and a Permethrin dust to the electrical eg dishwasher, microwave, stove and fridge will work for less than $40 at Bunnings.

Buy your Fipronil off-register from ebay for $1.49 delivered https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Useful-Cockroach-Roach-Control-G…

If you really want to waste money on sticky traps there are plenty on ebay. You could try this for $1.00 and just use the 1 side. Place some peanut butter in the center if it has no attractant https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Double-sided-Fly-Mosquito-Killer…

        Remember
1: sticky traps become more ineffective over time due to dust and dead insects and will need to be changed dependent on the environment
2: if your treatment is ineffective initially - retreat, look for areas of congregation (heat, moisture, food, dark)
        3. if your paying for a pest controller hire a local experienced professional don't get the cheapest and expect them to provide a guaranteed result.
        4. read the label and apply according to directions.
        5. Wear PPE
        6. Pesticides are unhealthy be wise.
        7. Cockroaches have sucking mouthparts and do vomit on your food to liquify and then re-ingest - they are a definite health risk
        8. Be careful of re-infesting - be careful if you buy used kitchen appliances from garage sales, gumtree etc

I agree with City Hunter below - good marketing only

        • You make some really great points here! We use Fipronil in our Gel, that is what takes care of interrupting the breeding cycle of the Cockroaches. Our gel is almost twice as strong as Maxforce Gold! Like I said previously though, we pack the sticky boards in there so like the professionals, you can use them after your initial treatment. Using them straight away would hinder the desired effects. Think of it like Gastro on a cruise ship! We want these little critters to get back to their colony and spread the gel. Use the gel, wait, re apply, wait, use sticky boards.

Expiration? What's efficacy like if we use these next summer?

    • +1

Efficacy is year round . We are simply providing german cockroaches with their last delicious meal that will spread to the colony like gastro on a cruise ship. This is what the pest controllers do every day and don’t want you to know .

    • I'd like to know as well.

My place is infested, but I've seen them less and less as the weather's cooled. So would like to know if they can last till the next warmer months when they start coming out in droves again.

Is this kit effective against Louisiana crayfish?

I didn't know cockroaches were a problem in Germany just now, but crayfish are.

  • Any deals for stuff to kill ants? Or do you have anything that works? I've tried: amdro, Advion, and Optigard but the ants are still out in force!

    • Did you pour aluminium on the best? iHeartRadio it works great

  • The name G-Bang would be more appropriate

  • Nice kit, cost me 250 bucks a few weeks ago to have someone come and do the same thing for me.

I might suggest, OP, that you include or provide some sort of long thin applicator for the stuff, as in my case, they were living in hard to reach places (back of the fridge, seals etc) that you couldn't get a hand in. Great deal already but if you could complete the set with that, people would be ready to go.

I also got a professional out a year ago for German roach.
Basically what they did was dab gel where roach were frequent so they will come in contact/eat.
I can’t even remember if they left those sticky things also but we also had those in the house after the gel that finished off the remaining colony, idea is the gel will kill most of the population then the sticky thing will kill the remaining and unborn babie roaches, at least that’s how it was explained to me

  • As a digital marketer, everything about this deal; the offer, the copy and content is awesome - there aren't many marketers who can pull this off anymore - everyone's forgotten the basics and just throw out seasonal discounts + cyber days etc.

    Well done OP

Then perhaps plus-vote to appreciate OP's effort?

  • I prefer a good Aussie thonging ,

and it may also work on the roaches.

    • Ye, if you spray with normal insect spray they'll stop moving and look dead but their bodies will mysteriously disappear.
