We’re excited to announce our partnership with Uber! For the first time in Australia, you can now receive Cashback on your rides if you’re a new AND existing customer. This means money back on your ride regardless of if you’re taking an Uber for the first time or if you take one every day.

To sweeten the deal, we’re upsizing cashback for existing uber customer.

Here are the details:

$2 Cashback for Existing Uber customers
$15 Cashback for New Uber Customers

Instructions:

  • Download the ShopBack App, sign up or log in to your ShopBack account
  • In the Home Tab of the ShopBack App, Click on “Rides”
  • Click “Book Uber”
  • Book your ride
  • Get cashback tracked within 1 Day of the ride

Terms and conditions

  • Cashback payable only for 1 ride per customer per day

        Very short lived offer, mate. If someone takes Uber rides on both days from now (i.e. 15/5 and 16/5), then also they can save only $4.

          This is an introductory promo for our partnership with Uber. There will still be Cashback on your Uber rides after the above date. This sort of Cashback might be great for someone who frequently uses Uber or even uses Uber occasionally. The savings all add up!

          @StoneSin: Not sure about 'severe effort'! Give our ShopBack app a go when you have a chance and you'll see how easy it is to get Cashback on your Uber rides :)
          Open ShopBack app > Tap through Uber store > Auto opens Uber app (if you already have it installed) > Order your Uber as usual.

    @gotyourback Cashrewards has 15% back on Hostelworld but they don't have an android app. Think you could get a similar feature to this Uber cashback working with the hostelworld app?
