Ikea one is 18 cm this one is 34 cm thick. It has a lot more padding. Which is latex vrs Ikea Polyurethane foam. The upholstery is cotton vrs Ikea polyester. This one is even slightly larger. It helps if you compare product description and specs. They are in a completely different category even through this one is cheaper, with the current discount. (king)
Would the medium-firm be suitable for side sleepers?
medium is for side sleepers. medium firm is for back/stomach sleepers. im both back and side medium firm is ok for me.

Target 500TC 100% cotton. $39 for fitted + $39 for flat. Bloody good sheets for the price.
They are $35 for king. Amazing price. Pretty good but not very soft. I bought these and the 1000 TC the same week and I like the 500 TC better. I had purchased the 1000 TC ones years ago and they were lovely bu not anymore.

these "bed in a box" mattresses are pretty good but one thing they just cant do with the design is include hard foam box edges (because otherwise it cant roll up).
i like having a foam box edge on the mattress as you can sit on the edge and do up your shoes or whatever, without the edge sagging.
for the price though, hard to go wrong. i had an old housemate who imported and sold these and was always amazed at their quality compared to what you pay $1k+ for in ordinary stores.

Can't you just add more slats? I read a review on producteviews.com.au where customer support told the customer to add more slats and it fixed their problem.

I waited close to 2 weeks and it still emitted odour but only when turning. After a further week or so all good. Just depends on how you are with tolerating chemical smells.

In regards to odour, mine hardly smelt at all. May be due to the fact I've left it in a room with windows open for 4 days.

Great mattress. Been using for 3 months or so.
Good for side/back sleeping. Hard to describe firmness, but very comfortable, very supportive. Definitely not rock hard, yet for me firm enough. I considered the super firm because I needed good support. Glad I went the black label.
Only minor negative I have found is the euro topper gets quite warm in summer, especially if napping in the daytime. For the money great buy!
Don't say that it gets hot in the summer. Least it's coming into winter and from sounds of it'll be 10x more comfortable then my current. Maybe I'll use my current crappy 10year old mattress for hot summer days. Haha

Got my tracking number for Hunter Express Tuesday night. But there's been no progress on the tracking. Still just states the general info where suburb where it's coming from and where it's going too and over night service.

I'm from Sydney and I had the same message from Hunter Express late Tuesday night, no other info apart from in transit and then arrived midday yesterday.
My order was picked up on Tuesday and still no delivery. I am in Sydney.
Same thing with hunter express and i'm in Sydney, picked up on 21st and said scanned to depot on 24th and marked as overnight. I called up and they said it hasn't been sent out yet. Pretty shit courier company tbh.
EDIT: take that back and my comment about the courier company, i came home and it was waiting for me. Was surprised how small they managed to get it. Stupid me realised tht my bed frame is only double.

My mattress has only expanded to 29cm.
Has anyone actually experienced expansion of 34cm as claimed by seller and how long did it take after unpacking?
It states to let it completely expand for at least 7 days before initial use.
Mine's been out for 5 days so far and has expanded to 32cm, will leave it for a few more days but doubt it'll become any thicker.
It's been 3 days so will wait till weekend before using it.
I bought their mattress recently and had the same problem. Contacted their company and they clarified mattress can be used after 24 hours and explained that depth of the mattress should be taken from bottom of mattress to the highest point. Using this method, my mattress measured to 33cm after 2 weeks time. Seller rep also explained that mattress may lose 1-2cm due to compression, which can take very long time to recover. I never bothered to measure again as the mattress is very comfortable anyway. For the price I paid, it is well worth it.

Those who bought it, can someone tell me if this mattress has overheating issues, because it's using Latex and foam.
We were using "COOL GEL Memory Foam Mattress Topper" and despite of being "Cool" we were sweating a lot while sleeping on it especially during summer days.
No overheating issues at all! They don't use any of those rubbish 'cooling gels'. I spoke to the owner in person when buying it back in February and he showed us and explained what's used inside this product.
Just so you get an idea, Eva mattresses are ideally of better quality but they do use the so called 'cooling gel' and we only managed to sleep on it 5 nights in Jan with AC on whole time.
This mattress is highly recommend if you don't mind its comfortable firmness.
