        Are you joking?

  • I think this may be the same as I have.

I'm not a videophile or anything and am happy enough with it.

Only two things is it takes 30 seconds to load up.

The other (and why I think it may be different) is so far the Smart TV side of it seems pretty basic. I've downloaded NetFlix and it was coming through very low res and I could not work out how to pause.

      That's disgusting…

  • 799 or even 599 is not a competitive price for this kind of TV anyway.
    499 sounds like everyday price

  • The Netflix app is appalling, barely works at all with the remote (smartphone app makes it slightly usable). Would recommend avoiding this.

    • you can connect a Telstra TV box…

      • Or buy a TV with a half decent Netflix app.

Not much use if you subscribe to Stan instead…

        • @jv: and who would bother doing that?

          @sk3iron:

          Stan's mum

  • just been looking at another comparable TV, anyone with experience on this tv or : Kogan 55" Agora Smart 4K LED TV (Series 8 KU8000)
    same price (+70 delivery fee).

    • Personally wouldn't touch a Soniq unless it was just for watching sport or free to air. Kogan I think is a little better if I had to decide but not by much.. like comparing two very similar pieces of bread

  • How are things in Unimatrix 01?

  • 4.4.4 Android operating system, which is easy to use and spectacular

I dare say it is not spectacular.

  • I brought this TV for this price almost a year ago, sold it a week later.
The picture qualtity was alright on HD channels and 4k videos but the smart features were terrible.
Don't even bother thinking about playing PS4/Xbox, the lag was horrible.
