Finally found an incentive to transfer my Citi Reward Points from my Signature card. The 20% Bonus is in addition to the Velocity tiered bonus netting you between a 35%-60% total bonus.

For the month of May, if you transfer your Citi reward Points to Velocity Points, we will give you an additional 20% bonus Velocity Points on top of the Velocity Points offer.

*Bonus Velocity Points offer: The earning and redemption of Citi reward Points is subject to the Citi Rewards Program Terms and Conditions. Minimum of 2,000 points per transfer applies and must occur between 01 May and 31 May 2018 to receive the tiered bonus Velocity Points (rounded to the nearest whole number). Tiered bonus Velocity Points means the following percentage of bonus Velocity Points allocated to a member depending on each individual (not accumulative) amount of Velocity Points transferred during the promotion period. As a further bonus, Citi will also give you an additional 20% for any transfers between 01 May and 31 May 2018 (Citi booster).

For example, currently 2 Citi reward Points equals 1 Velocity Point. If you transfer 200,000 Citi reward points, you will receive 100,000 Velocity Frequent Flyer Points and an additional 35,000 bonus Velocity Frequent Flyer Points.

    I did this a few days ago as I don't use my Citibank Signature card anymore so had some dormant Citi Reward points sitting in my Citi account. Was surprised to see an additional 20% bonus.

    Is this the highest % conversion? I see these offers regularly but wonder if I should wait a bit.

      Its pretty good as it stacks with Velocity current bonus promotion giving you between 35%-60% bonus points.

    Mine says get up to 60%..
    1-100,000 35%
    100,001-250,000 40%
    250,001- 500,000 45%
    500k-750k 50%
    750k+ 60%

      Yes. Citi is kicking in an extra 20% on top of the Velocity current tiered bonus promotion.

    Do you transfer points to book flights? I was going to order $750 Myer vouchers (500+250) but am wondering now if there is a better way to use the points.Thanks.

      no to sell them at ~1.2cents per velocity point

      eg ~ 100,000 velocity point ~ $1200

      unless you want a cheap upgrade to business class better to sell them..

    The transfer at 2 Citi reward Points equals 1 Velocity Point kills it though.
    for example, one example, it might be a poor example but I chose it seemingly at random,
    you can get a return flight SYD-AKL for 65,643* POINTS (citi reward points), or
    the same flight 70,000 velocity points (140,000 citi points).

    doesn't seem like a deal.
