I've definitely bought way more of these than I need, given these are packs of 25 and 50!

Still, perhaps good for kids arts and crafts etc as well as kitchen uses.

    Thanks OP

here's hoping the plastic doesn't degrade into little kibbles too quick

gee, the little ones are more expensive than the big ones

  • +3

Awesome! Does anyone know how many ekkies you can fit in a bag?

    Please don't over buy!
Buy only you need and save the environment!

EDIT: description says recyclable but a lot of them still end up in landfill

He did not say he has a fear of running out of landfill area, maybe he just doesn’t want the world to have more useless stuff chucked out?
I have no idea why you have such irrational assumptions.

          @Diji1:

Sorry I’ve never bought or owned a car, want to assume something else instead?

I have the Same error when we choose to pay by credit card so I went back and choose to pay by PayPal, order successfully processed.

Last time the umbrella deal, ordered and OW hold my fund for 2 weeks and after 3 calls was told no stock, forced to accept refund. Pretty shitty experience.

    • I got told refund or wait until August for stock

    • i got it few days ago.

    • I got refunded instantly but it took a day to tranfer into my account

Yeah, nah. After the projector fiasco, I think I'll pass. Just another scheme to earn interest by temporarily holding our funds in an offshore account… ;)

They'd lose more customers than any $ in interest they gained. I'm not with AMP or Commonwealth, but any interest they earned would be SFA.

edit: and there's the wink I didn't see.

  • New drinking game

  • Clearance time before plastic bags ends in July 2018 ? Time for plastic bag hoarding !!

    • Is that only for QLD?

      • And NSW (BIG W is already plastic bag free here)

  • Has anyone used this for food. I am not sure if it is really food safe.

    • +1

says "food safe" in the description so should be fine

  • Are these only in store? All of the $1 items are unavailable

    Work perfectly for weed 👍

  • Any idea if these would be suitable for Sous Vide?

    • I wouldn't risk it. They look to be light gauge plastic. I've tried using the higher quality Ikea bags (double zip lock, thick plastic walls) and even they fell apart surprisingly. I'd recommend a proper vacuum bag, pre-cut or off a roll, from Sunbeam or similar to those found in Aldi.

      • I have a couple of Stasher bags, which are reusable, but they are a bit thick for the water displacement method. Costco sell the Ziplock bags and they are meant to be OK for Sous Vide. Worked for what I cooked prior to when I got the Stasher bags. I hate one use plastic bags and prefer to use the reusable ones. Good soap and hot water wash, dry them properly and the Stasher ones are ready to go again. Will look into this for the Ziplock ones. Apparently the Ziplock are OK to 90C.

  • Just picked mine up this morning. Perfecto :)

    • noticed that.. you should repost it as a new post.. wont really be seen here
