    1000XM2 is $293 + 2000 Points. That's a pretty decent price!

    • that's great!

    • This should be a deal by itself!

    • Looks like someone just stole your deal.

      Great find though!

    • Which one better, this or Sennheiser PXC550 or QC35? Thanks

      • QC35

        • How would you rate the Sony 1000X2 vs the Bose and Sennheiser?

        • +2

I have the MDR1000X now - but will be selling them. They are similar to the 1000X2.
Sound quality is better than Bose - probably equal with Sennheiser (Sony a bit better bass, Sennheiser better overall clarity - i prefer the latter, others will prefer the bass).
Noise cancellation Bose & Sony are best, Sennheiser slightly behind (but plenty good enough for me).

Microphone (call) quality is best with the Sennheisers - seeing I use this for a lot of business calls, this is quite important to me.

Edit: I will say Bose have excellent support though - my old QC25's developed an issue about 2 years out of warranty, and they replaced them free of charge. Definitely something to consider when you're paying this much for headphones.
Edit2: And I just bought the Sennheisers - thanks to OP and commenters for pointing out the deal!

    • 1000XM2 Showing out of stock for me, both black and gold.

    • What should i get if i don't really need the noise cancelling. I just need wireless ones for the gym.

      • For gym get one of the in-ear wireless ones.

Can I buy if I don't have Qantas Points?

    • No. But you can get points if you're really desperate. Easiest/quickest way is their Epicure wine club.

  • Provided I bought two of these would I have any issues claiming trs? Or would this be a normal tax invoice

  • +1

I don't have QFF. Where can I sign up for an instant 2000 pts? :D

    • +1

      Buy them from the classifieds

    • Maybe Woolworths

  • +1

Plenty of credit card deals with 50k, 100k QFF points

Edit: you don’t get the points right away so that doesn’t work :p

  • +1

Thanks OP! Just a note for people that don't have any QF points, they are going for $250 delivered at the Bose AU store (yes, substantially more but still not a bad price for these headphones) http://bit.do/egQZE

  • How do I cancel the $250 deal from Bose ? :(

    • Return it when it arrives?

  • +1

Thanks for posting! I was bidding on used ones on eBay but at this price there was no point buying secondhand :)

  • Any additional promo codes that can be stacked on top? They usually send one when it's your birthday month, something along the lines of BDAYMAY18. Unfortunately their system seems to cross check with your DOB on file so it doesn't work unless it really is your birthday month.

    • I tried the CLICKFRENZY code but it has expired :(

    • +1

Thanks for the heads up! It’s my birthday this month and the code BDAYJUN18 gave me an extra 10% of points off :)

  • Considering that you can sell QFF for at least 1c per point, that makes this price $325 (at least). I'm not seeing the bargain?

    • +1

Pay the minimum QFF points. Bargain now?

      • Ohhhh 2,000 is the minimum! I read that as 20,000. Well, that's not bad then.

If I knew how to delete my original comment I would.

    • +3

You're not seeing the bargain, agreed.

  • +1

Thanks op. Ordered. My wife has these and I have a great set of Senheiser which while they are great are not nc so useless on a flight.

Isn't $204 via Videopro eBay a better deal? Pay $7.34 extra but saving 2000 Qantas points. And can get cashback via CR or SB

  • +1

thanks I also just bought the PXC's via Qantas

    • +1

Same! Genuine bargain, thanks OP for the Sale heads up and the others who linked the PXCs
