Cult Beauty is offering free worldwide shipping on The Ordinary products. They are based in the UK and shipments to Australia will have 20% VAT removed at check-out. UK prices are marginally cheaper than AU prices, but with VAT taken off it's definitely cheaper. Deliveries to Australia are tracked.

If you haven't heard of the brand yet - The Ordinary specialises on targeted yet affordable skin care treatments using active ingredients that have been scientifically proven to be effective. They specialise in serums and hydrators, and also have a foundation range. The brand has been extremely popular since launch, and there are plenty of online reviews. The trickiest part is knowing what to use for your personal skincare concerns/targets as you have to pick and choose to customise your own routine. Check out the regimen guide for help.

The foundations come in a great range of shades and comes in a serum(light to medium coverage) or coverage (medium to high coverage) formulas. Pretty cheap at £4.75 for the serum foundation. Their primers are also available from £3.25.

You can buy The Ordinary products locally at their store at Sydney and Melbourne, or from adorebeauty.com.au, or Priceline or Myer. However, a few products aren't available for sale here due to restrictions but you can buy online from the UK.

I can vouch for The Ordinary products, but I haven't bought from Cult Beauty before. They look like a well-established company though.

Can vouch for the store. Good prices and decent shipping here.

    • oh cool, thanks :)

  • Good job OP.

Not for me though, no product will save this mug of mine

    • +1

Mee too, full body cloning is the only thing that would have any chance of improving this ugly mug!

      • +2

Surely a clone will have the same issues as the source.

    • I don't believe either of you :)

      • Some people don't know if they're talking to the right end of me

  • Bought their AHA/BHA peel a month ago. They had free shipping then too, found it on skincareaddiction.reddit.com and asianbeauty.reddit.com.

    • Cool, have you tried it? Did it sting? Too chicken to try :P

      • AHA/BHAs rock. Worth trying as separate products rather than the "peel" version if you're worried.

        • This too! I alternate between TO 0.2% retinol (Retinol > Retinoid, work your way from .2 to .5 to 1) / CosRX Blackhead (cheapest BHA) / TO Glycolic 7%

        • Yup, I'm using the Glycolic 7% toner every 2nd night and just started with the Salicylic acid. :)

      • +1

I did! Works really well, very very little sting (though I am a man (for now), so I have thicker skin).

I'm a bit of a chemical exfoliator connoisseur. AHA/BHA acids are great if you have skin concerns like sebaceous filaments/blackheads, large pores, acne. It does sting when you first start but honestly it's only a mild sting. You should start off using it only once or twice a week, then slowly increasing it so that your skin can get used to it. My skin starts flaking/peeling off if I use it everyday, so I generally only use it once every couple of days. Nowadays I use tretinoin so I've been using chemical exfoliators less since tret can be pretty harsh on the skin.

Definitely recommend chemical exfoliators in general. It has helped my oily skin, the sebaceous filaments on my nose, and also reduced the appearance of my pores on my nose.

        • Thanks for the helpful info :) I also experienced some slight peeling/flaky skin and had to only use the Glycolic acid every 2 nights instead of every night. That's why I haven't 'progressed' to the AHA 30%/BHA 2% peel :/

Though not an AHA/BHA, I can highly recommend the Alpha Lipoic acid, but you can only use this 2-3 times a week. It has a slightly warm, slow burn. Holy moly, this strong antioxidant gives you an immediate glow the next morning, no kidding.

  • Awww NMF out of stock :(

    • yeah NMF 100ml always sells out fast. You can get it at AU retail price at Adore Beauty if you're desperate. Free shipping min order $20.

All good, the 100g is OOS but they have the 30g available. Picking up a few other items too, my first The Ordinary stash. Thanks Moocher

        • Cool, let us know how you go with using the products :)

    There's a promo code YOU15 for an extra 15% off orders over £20 :D

    • +1

Did the code work for you? It kept asking me to update my preference even though I'd done so :(

      • Yes it worked for me

      • Same here, have you figured it out? :(

        • nope :( I've emailed them though, just waiting for their response fingers crossed

    • +1

Thanks for this, I've updated the deal with details about the code.

  • Must be so expensive being a woman.

And so much work with all the plucking, straightening and applying makeup.

I struggle just showering and shaving.

I’ve been using the example regimen for pigmentation for just over a week now. Have seen some slight fading of pigmentation, other bonus is that skin feels softer and plumper. No adverse side effects so will continue using to see if it fades more over the month.

    • That's great. I'm guessing you had to get your Alpha Arbutin and Azelaic Acid from overseas?

      • +1

yep purchased all of it from Cult Beauty and Beauty Bay!

  • Great find OP

Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG is the best, rally works for dark circles and bags under the eyes.

Avoid Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%! Especially sensitive skin, its like putting glue on your face.

    • Yup, the caffeine solution has helped with the puffiness around my eyes.

In terms of Vit C, I have also been using Ascorbyl Glucoside 12% and there is no irritation with some visible brightening effect over time. The Ordinary carries so many different Vit C products, there's bound to be one that'll suit you :) See their detailed Vit C product comparison

Cult is a good, I shopped several times. They carry CHARLOTTE TILBURY. and the website does freeing shopping every month for a particular brand. Prices are so cheap compared to Australia.

  • Got my parcel 2 days ago. Just opened it earlier. They sent me the wrong items.. Got 132 GBP worth of stuff when I paid 17 GBP for mine. Notified them because I dont think I'm gonna use these stuff but really lol

    • Oh dear, that's a major stuff up. Maybe they will let you keep the stuff and send the things you ordered too.
