  • If it's 55" but up to 50kg does that mean a 60" that weighs under 50kg would be fine?

Doubt the mounting points will be wide/tall enough to fit a TV bigger than 55".

Measure the distance between the mounting holes in the back of your TV and see whether it fits.

      • My 65" Sony x8500e has 300x300mm mounting pattern and is about 21kg, so I see no issue using this for any TV under 50kg and a 300 - 400mm mounting pattern.

I'm using one of these with no issue: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TV-Bracket-Fixed-Wall-Mount-42-5…

Not as fancy as these "swing away" type mounts - but just showing as an example to look at the specifications and not the 'suits screens xx" to yy"' etc)

Yeah if its 400x400 its usually 55" or maybe some 60"s

  • How is this a bargain? Is it a reduced price?

      63% off

      • Aldi had one that doesn't have the swivel bit for $30? Only a deal if u need swivel

    $59 with free shipping.

    • Up to 75'. Much better that the Bunnings one IMO

    • Ordered one from Kogan the other day, arrived in 2 days. the quality is excellent and it fits my 65inch tv perfectly.

    • Tilt angle is different to Kogan one, so depends on planned usage. Also Kogan wall side looks ugly.
      Crest: -20 - 10
      Kogan: -8 - 12

This Kogan one has slightly better appearance

    • "Minimal surface damage"

Not sure about the fact this needed to be included in the feature list… No surface damage much preferred

I know this is cheap, but if you can spend a few extra dollars get a dual arm model. They're just so much more stable and less likely to shake/drop/tilt than these single arm models.

  • These swing mounts are really tricky to get the tv level. You’ll probably find the tv tilts as the arm is extended.
I’d only consider these types of mounts to mount a tv in the corner of a room, even then it would be after other alternatives were exhausted.
