  • cl20 ? further 20%off?

    • only for clothing.

    • Just tried it - didn't work :(

This is still a bonza deal though

  • is that fit the carry on cabin size requirement?

    • nope, 55cm max

      • It really depends on the airline. I'm looking at the 55cm version which is 55 x 40 x 20 cm = 115 cm total. It wouldn't be allowed on Qantas, JetStar, Virgin or Cathay but would be allowed on Air New Zealand

The common restriction seems to be 55/54 x 36 x 23cm. But Virgin is extra strict and only allows a small bag: 48 x 34 x 23 cm.

Why don't you google it and find out?

      QANTAS

      1 x 115cm bag

      = 56cm + 36cm + 23cm

So no, the 55cm model is sold out.

By that logic there should be no product description up there either; just give product name store and price. It's to save googling time for every1 else who has the same questions.

    • don't know what the others are on about but it looks like carry on ok

      • It's too big to be a carry-on.

  • which on better? (and what are the differences between them?)

    • The WaveBre looks like the style that I find is typically stronger (with the raised and lower parts across it), but you have some wasted space from this. Can't find full specs to confirm that the volume is actually more on the other due to this… But I would assume at least 2-5L.

Beyond that, visually, wheels look basically the same, etc.

Personally went with the tracklite. My case only ever contains clothes - few hits the side won't hurt anything. If I was carrying anything more delicate I'd probably go with the other.

Note, I'm only going by visuals and past experience with other cases.

WaveBre has 2L more capacity than Tracklite (55cm). Source: American Tourister UK website.

        • Oh well then, I take it back lol

Either way, that design I find is usually a little sturdier feeling.

    • The internals look slightly different. Wavebreaker v Tracklite

  • does anyone know how quick delivery is? im travelling next weekend

    • +1

you won't get it by next weekend. Usually takes them a few days to process the order, then the shipping itself is 1.5weeks to 2 weeks or more

another model is $48.00 American Tourister Pearl River Soft Suitcase

Don't forget to change currency to GBP and use no international fee cards

    • That's great advice unfortunately by the time I saw this it was already too late, bought one

    • Thanks for the 28Deg currency change tip. Good one

    • -1

Note the 77cm is $48.00 for that model - even cheaper than the medium.

      • The 77cm one is $54 for me, are you sure?

    • Thank you, I bought the Pearl River 66cm. Paid in GBP, price using Bankwest Platinum MasterCard was A$44.29 incl delivery to regional Qld. I don’t know how they can deliver a suitcase to regional Qld for less than $2.

  • Why is the smaller one (55cm) cost more than the bigger one (67cm)?

    • higher demand increase the price

  • Does anyone know the weight of the $54 one?

  • anyone know the difference betwwen the wave and tracklite?

  • +1

    via Googling:

    67cm: 3.8kg
    78cm: 4.4kg

  • +1

Seems like a lot of them are on sale

Now… buy now or wait for an Aldi sale
    :P

  • Prices don't seem to be that great in comparison to strandbags

I bought one. Got this rather pathetic message:

This confirmation of receipt of order is subject to stock availability and does not constitute a binding contract. This email does not constitute or represent confirmation of the purchase.
This will be issued when your order has been processed by our warehouse team.

They don't know if I will get what I ordered and paid for!!!!!

    • And I unfortunately got an email saying it was removed from my order as temporarily out of stock!

I’d ordered the soft case 77cm

  • American Tourister WaveBre1 Hard S C C99 has no product description, I am curious of the differences too.

I admit for $46 is a great price, it seems light as-well.

    • +1

      How did you get $46?

      • +2

Apparently change to GBP + pay with no fee card. Totals $47.97 AUD (27 GBP).

  • Bought one, Thanks OP =)

  • American Tourister WaveBre1 Hard S C C99 $54 nightshade color 26in/67cm

    Price $100…??

    • Change to GBP apparently

  • Thanks OP.

Just checking if WaveBre1 in 67cm is still available ? I have checked but is not showing up so wanted to make sure is it just me or they have sold out.

    Cheers !

    • Not showing for me either so bought Tracklite.

  • How long is shipping?

    • +2

I ordered a couple of jackets from them a few days ago, and it took just under 10 days to arrive. The shipment had tracking info, in case you're worried about that.

  • American Tourister 67cm WaveBreaker Hard for $54 is available again. I just ordered one from the UK website for £27.99 shipped (£27.00 for the luggage + £0.99 for delivery), which should come out to A$50 if you have a international transaction fee free credit card (eg. ANZ Rewards Travel Adventures Visa or GE 28 Degrees MasterCard)
