    Meh…serving sizes are just normal, not double portion…so I would say that's a misleading term on their part

    I'd hate to see what their normal servings are like

      Standard serves of protein are 100g but we understand some people are hungrier than this which is why we created this range. At less than $5 a dish we think this deal won't leave you wanting more.

    Is it actually fresh or come in one of those long life sachets? Is it frozen? I don't really understand.

      100% fresh to be eaten within the next 5 to 7 days although they can be frozen if you are able to not eat them straight away.

    Are there any tips to opening the packages after heating? I can't seem to open them neatly, and inevitably spill some of the sauce onto the bench… not a good look. I don't have this issue with competing products, or even the el cheapo frozen meals from Colesworth.

      Hi kwchaz,

      We put the strongest possible seal on our products to stop them accidentally splitting in transit but that can make them tricky to open. Personally I just get a sharp knife and run round the edge after heating rather than try and pull apart with my hands.

    Just wanted to say, i jumped on this last week.

    I've tried a fair few companies similar (YF, 5.4, MMC) and these Double Serve meals are the best by far! The Spicy Cauliflower rice makes cauliflower rice edible ha, and the portion sizes are perfect. With other meals I usually end up adding 2 cups of other veggies or additional snacks during the day.

    Love Thr1ve, except the terrible name that is shocking from a marketers perspective, but your meals are great!
