      You get what you pay for, eg. The overall design and engineering, user experience, quality of components, aftersales service… Etc if you're looking to buy it at least invest in extended warranty

    Same thing happened to Nakamichi and Sansui. Respectable names in consumer electronics bought by Grande Holdings, a Hong Kong-based conglomerate to peddle its low quality stuff (and I don't think it has any high quality stuff).

    I went in to the Gordon HN yesterday to check out the 55" from other deal posted, saw a 65' UHD Akai for $799, and display model for $699. Maybe not the Smart version, but maybe better with an Android box, from what people are saying, another option.

    EDIT: No, Catch one was NOT a SmartTV.
