It has a bit of an advantage since the heat is right below the stone and gives a more crisper base. But I find the oven is more convenient, and you can cook more than 1 at a time. Get 2 stone bases, preheat oven to the hottest you can with the stone bases in there before you add the pizza, then pretty good. It's a good deal though.
Price in title?
This has been on sale for $59 for weeks if not months. They just don’t sell. My guess is they will eventually get marked down further for clearance. I might bite then but probably not worth it for $59 imo.
I have a stand alone metal pizza oven outside and got a slightly bigger one than this for the BBQ from the Bunnings deal late last year so I could have an extra pizza cooking when there are more people here.
The BBQ one cooks way faster and the base is crispier. We pretty much use the BBQ one all the time now, as the pizza will cook in the few minutes it takes to make the next one.
sounds tempting… would this have a much better effect then my oven?
