        Thanks mate :)

      • Me too! It's a beauty!

        Used this deal, earnt $40.

      • +1

Don't need to have NFC, you can still use google pay with other apps like the Play store to pay. But it's only in Android unfortunately.

Man, that Sharp Aquos S2 is a great phone, but I'm a bit shallow and prefer to buy the phone that celebrities are using

I've had people mistake it for an iphone X so as long as you say yes it is you can still be fashionable!

    New users only

    • Added to title. Existing users can benefit by being a referrer.

  • Apparently i can't post referrels, i didn't even know that was a rule. But i'll help out anyone who needs one. Make sure to spend it on a small app (about 99 cents) and then you'll get the $10.

Go to My account, settings, referrals, Google Pay, to add your referral link to the pool.

Thanks man, so how do i send it to other people here?

        • +1

You don't, at least not directly.
The referral link is added to the pool of random referrals on relevant deals such as this one.

Any tricks to make it appear in referrals? I can’t seem to see any google in the list

        • +2

It is listed in P, after "Paula's Choice", not G in the referral page.

      • I cant find this option somehow in my google My Account.

        • +1

I was referring to your Ozbargain website settings.

To get your referral code, go to Google Pay, menu, get rewards.

    • Hmm. Will that actually work?

      Qualifying payments.

Online payments for purchases on apps or websites owned and operated by Google (e.g. Google Play, YouTube etc.) are not Qualifying Payments.

Google Pay, Google play, do they have to have such similar names??

    • Yes, that's why I forgot to put "Google Pay" in the title.

    Make it rain!

I used Android Pay in 2017 does that make me illegible for this deal? Did Google Pay used to be called Android Pay?

    • +1

Yes, Android Pay is now called Google Pay. If you used Android Pay before you are not qualified as a new user in Google Pay.

      • Oh thanks! New gmail might work with a new card?

        • I was thinking same but didn't try but did the other way around by referring friends instead. Did you try? Any luck?

  • 28 Degrees is also doing 5% cashback up to $50 with Google Pay, which I assume should stack with this..

(I can't find a page with the details, the offer was emailed with an activation link that just leads to their website and a popup that says offer is activated.)

  • Was a pain for me when I tried two months ago: I tried signing up, everything looked fine, but every time I tapped to pay it would be declined. I decided after two tries a week apart that I'd not bother. Tried six weeks later and it worked, but by then I'd missed out on the bonus credit offer.

On the plus side, Google Pay is working great now!

My first referrer bonus came in a few hours ago! Thank you kind stranger.

    • Haha lucky you a 1 in 283 chance goes your way.

I doubt I'll be that lucky!

      • +1

It's not a 1 in 283 chance because OP's referral isn't random if you want to choose it :)

        • Ah didn't realise that!

    • And thank you number 2

  • Got the redeem code after Using Google Pay for 5 Times, but cannot redeem it, saying "Code country does not match your account country",
the terms for the code says "New users in US only", my country for Google payment is US, but the country in Google play is Australia, and cannot be changed, why Google cannot simplify these settings in one place, so confusing

  • Hey how can I get the referral code for a random Ozbargain friend? Clicking the link just keeps sending me to Google Pay on the Play store, I want to code to jam in the app on my phone.

    • Have you already installed the Google Pay app? What browser are you using?

Using Chrome on my phone, tapping a referral link opens the Google Pay app, and takes me to the promo code page with the referrers code already entered in.

    • Scroll to the bottom of the post and click either "Shiznit" or "Random".

  • Thank you all, I have just received my tenth referral bonus (max).

I'm removing my referral link so others can benefit.
