Went to local Bunnings (Tuggeranong ACT) and saw this deal.

It is advertised as $249 18v Cordless Hammer Drill

Packaging shows that it is a 3.0Ah brushless drill. It appears to come with 2 batteries and charger. They had 6 available.
The DeWALT rep was there I suppose in preparation for the DeWalt upcoming deals. Other DeWALT items were reduced.

I could not find the deal on the DeWALT web site so is possibly a Bunnings only package.

Blackwoods have a 2.0Ah kit for $349.

    thanks OP (frondono) for posting the link. The only thing I would say about the bigger batteries is that they make drill very heavy but $199 is certainly a better deal. cheers
