  • wow kills the previous deals …..my 500 gb plain white arrived today and that was $240 …..minecraft 1 tb would definitely be worth the extra …..
forza 3 you can get play anywhere codes for $50 …….

    • +14

Unfortunately it doesn't kill this previous deal for exactly the same console bundle from the same Amazon AU. Now that was the real ripper.

Yes… I procrastinated and now I get to regret.

        • -1

Procrastinated for ages, that deal was active for weeks!

        • +1

@Jackson: It's an art. Watch and learn.

        • @iDroid: Got one from the lighting deal ($179 Amazon delivered) - procrastination seems to have paid off!

      • +2

Haha wow, that just makes this deal look crap now lol. Even though it's still a good deal in the context of what's available today.

      • I made a mistake in what i typed. I see that this deal is from Microsoft AU but i thought it was Amazon AU. The best deal was from Amazon AU a few months ago.

      • I know right. Best deal to be had thus far on that one. Lucky I grabbed one!!!

    • +1

My 500gb for $239 arrived yesterday and no regrets in buying over this one. Yes, 1TB is better but it's almost $50 extra and I've already got an external drive I can use. In addition, I get 3 months xbox live gold and 3 month game pass instead of 14 day live trial and one month game pass.

      • -8

Except this bundle was 219 a few months back

        • +1

Just because it's not the cheapest price ever doesn't mean it's worthy of a neg?

You can't just neg every deal that had been cheaper at one point in time..

        • @pennypincher98: its not like it was cheaper for a couple of hours and sold out, that deal was running for at least 2 weeks and they probably sold thousands, with literally hundreds of upvotes. And at that time so many people were whining about the colour and design of the thing, and now its 70 bucks more and sells out in hours and none of the same complaints from anyone. A clear example if how when something is too cheap people find something wrong with it.

        • @pennypincher98: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/382222

Only had to wait a couple of days and here you go. Is it a valid neg now in hindsight?

        • @Jackson: so we should neg every deal that we see because it might become cheaper again.

You didn't know it was going to be cheaper when you negged.

  • Are these same bundles still going for $220 shipped on Amazon AU? If not, might be worth holding out for a similar deal if you're in no rush to pick this up.

    • +7

You are 3 months and 16 days too late for that deal.

      • +2

Well I picked it up last time, I’m just saying it might be worth waiting for similar deal to crop up again, especially with E3 a couple of weeks away, followed by end of financial year sales.

        • Exactly what i was saying, and apparrently so many downvotes I got my downvote revoked. What BS, I didnt even know that was possible

  • Wish they ran windows. Would have bought in a heartbeat. :(

    • being able to run Windows 10 or at least Windows 10 S on an XB1 would be a game changer.

      • They need to add mouse support first. Currently the only game or app that seems to take a mouse as input is minecraft.

        • Running a Windows 10 in Desktop mode would implicitly mean kb/m support and add Office 365 etc. from the Windows Store.

I could imagine businesses buying them up to use as cheap workstations.

        • @The Land of Smeg: I don't see the issue tbh. Ms could make quite a lot of money

  • If anyone is looking .. screamride is $9 from Microsoft. Take 20% and it's $7.20. winning.

    • +1

If you have game pass, best to try it first before buying.

    • Why not just post this deal?

      • Didn't get a chance to earlier today at work.. don't really think anyone is that interested in it . .

      • It's a good game, except it is not for lousy gamers like me. I had fun playing the game the early stages (it's in Game Pass). However, I struggle to do well and have a huge backlog of games yet to play (due to visiting OZB site way too often - well, that's my excuse :) ).

  • Any deals on X's

  • +1

guess at the end of the day is buy cheapest bundle …. add external 2 tb drive and use it …… who will really pay a premium in 12mths for a used console of limited edition or 1 tb vs 500gb (by now it’s a used drive) when the xbox one x bundles and enhanced content will be deal this christmas …..

already we have the option on the xbox one to download the enhanced content so when we get a one x we just copy the data across, no need to wait for downloads so we get the new graphics as soon as we get a new console home. ……

$220 on amazon would be a killer deal if still going ……

and eb always have cheap games …..got halo v and forza 6 for $17 each …..

minecraft bundle ….if you have young kids who live minecraft it’s a christmas present that would have a wow factor ……but they already have minecraft if they are into it …….

  • Damn I wish I jumped on that previous Amazon deal. After that I saw them popup on Gumtreee and Ebay for like a $100 more

  • +1

Aldi has one for $199. Two games.

    • That would be the 500GB console. So no it's not the same one.

    • Not at any stores I've seen. They all got cleared out ages ago (weeks-months)

      • Aldi in Seville has one.
        1 TB
Comes with 1 month Xbox game pass.
Token for assassins creed origins and rainbow six siege.

        • Should only take me about 9 hours to get there hahaha
Should've mentioned I was in NSW.

Although if you want to buy it and ship it up to me you're more than welcome ;)
Also upload image to imgur or something and then link here - its easier.

        • +1

          @pennypincher98: road trip haha

        • That bundle isn't $199. $279 from memory.

    • Link?

  • 1 TB I took a pic but don’t know how to post.

  • Note: Previous 500GB deal had 3 month Game Pass + 3 month Xbox Live. This one has:

    • 1-month Xbox Game Pass trial
    • 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial
    • they shipped me the 14 day gold (must be low stock of the other starter bundles) so onto ebay for them to fix …have never used game pass so that will be fun for the kids, and the 3 mth gold is worth $20

      • Yeah I know it's only worth $20 for 3 months but still, prefer the other deal - even with a coat of paint over this.

  • For those $399 bundles that the 20% discount doesn't work on, there are $349 deals available from MS direct with free shipping - https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/store/collections/xboxonesbu…

(and it seems with more games than the eBay bundles)

    • With 6 games too :) nice..👍

  • So that Amazon post for $219 back in the day was an amazing deal.

  • Yeah nobody can beat yet the amazing price of the minecraft 1tb limited edition xbox one S for $219 from a few months ago.

  • Nooooooooooòoooo

  • I got 1tb with 2games at kensington park aldi SA for 199 as a clearance. That was last one a week before.

  • In case anyone wanted buyers remorse this from earlier today: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/382222
