"the models are amazing.. nice n thin with heaps of grunt!"

    • Yeah. And still have that amazing ThinkPad keyboard. A bit expensive though — but then again it's very well built business grade laptop.

I myself am waiting for the new ThinkPad Edge E220s/E420s, although I pretty much need a new laptop next month and can't wait until April for new Edge's release.

      • Scotty, Till the time, I can get confirmation from my office to buy these, it was too late.
I am interested in buying a T510 series laptop. Do you think, to wait for same deal or to proceed with current deal till 31st of january upto 25% discount.
        ( I missed Thinkpad T510 i7 for 1450 dollars after 35 % discount :( )

        • Lenovo seems to be running deals every week — although 35% off seems to be pretty rare. I'll post them as soon as I receive more promo from Lenovo :)

        • Thanks Scotty

  • How come Lenovo's always look plain…structural support?

    • +1

coz someone thought it'd be cool to make them look like Japanese 'Bento' lunch boxes!

    • i guess they don't want to fix something that isn't broken? :)

am saying this for thinkpads because those things seems to be designed to last…

      • Ahh well. At least it will never look dated….or will it..

  • Is it good time to take T510. I am not sure, when they will come with Sandy bridge.
I like Edge also, but they miss the legendary Roll cage technology.

  • is this cheaper than grabbing a friend who is an ibmer to buy from their employee page?

    • Very minimal difference when these bigger sales are on.

  • Grrrrr. Got sucked in & just bought a T410 to replace my current Dell Latitude.
