      There is free EU roaming yes, however,different European countries sell different types of plans from expensive data plans to cheaper data plans which vary from country to country on price.

      Additionally, we avoid customers the hassle of getting a travel Sim when their land by giving them the Sim before they fly - which is a massive convenience when you really want to get out of the airport without having to shop around for Sim providers or not knowing which plans are right for you.

        I understand the fact of pre-purchasing before anyway but you can walk to any mobile place in any European country and you will find heaps of prepaid option from AU$10-15 t for 10GB like vodafone/Orange /wind etc and you can use all over Europe for free i normally travelSpain/Italy/Germany /Greece every year (not sure if still uK in the Euro zone roaming free)
        and you can find this shops at the arrival airport normally

      Can you get them in airports? I've gone to the shops to get local sims before but found the convenience of having the sim at the airport so I can get directions to accommodation or whatever is worth the extra money.

      LHR Sim Local is offering the 12GB AIO for £30.57 GBP (~$54 AUD).

        Was just checking HUKD when I found this deal for ID Mobile.

        £10 (~$17.51 AUD) for 1 month which includes 10GB / 300 mins /unlimimted texts. Available online or at Carphone Warehouse (can't ship to AUS obviously).

        • Roams in Europe for free (same as 3).
        • No tethering (same as 3) albeit not enforced in all countries.

    Can't speak more highly of these guys. Bought a few of the O2 ones (20gb and 3000mins- great deal I think) when they had them at 50% off. Dealt with the PayPal issues I had quickly and sim card arrived the next day.

    Just want to say these 3UK SIMs are good if you plan to spend majority of your time in the UK because you get full speed 4G LTE connectivity. In rest of continental Europe these are limited to only 3G/HSPA+ when roaming. Its still fine for WhatsApp/Facebook/Music streaming but in some countries (especially Italy) 3G is super slow. I'd get another country's SIM or if starting from UK, an EE SIM if I plan to spend more time in other countries as everyone else apart from 3UK roams at full 4G LTE speeds.

    3000 Mins of Calls to use in the UK & EU

    Also another important thing - these calls can be made from UK & EU but only to UK numbers, as this is essentially a UK sim card that has free roaming in the EU due to EU laws. You cannot call someone in Germany for example using this credit.

    I posted this on an older thread, so excuse me if you already read it.
    After an earlier offer, I got the SIM in the mail 3 days after the order was placed, and then an email from Layla at Euro SIMs to confirm my departure date.
    Before I left I transferred my 'own' SIM to the second spot in my phone (twin-SIM Honor 7X) and installed the O2 SIM as SIM1.
    As soon as the plane landed at Heathrow I turned on my phone. It booted up and after about 30 seconds, I got a welcome SMS from O2.
    About 30 seconds after that, boom, a second SMS, confirming triple the data (in my case, to 6GB).
    I literally did not have to do anything else.
    Coverage is great, everything works as it is supposed to.
    Very happy with the service from Euro SIMs and O2. Many thanks to all concerned.
