  • Nice find! Does anyone know if this would work when paying in combination with JB Hi-Fi e-gift cards?

    • +2

      It sure does :)

    • +1

Pretty sure it should, worked fine for me for the same Wicked Wednesday promotion late last year.

    • Thanks dowey and JSQUARED for confirming this!

  • gah do I use my ebay cards to buy JB cards so I can buy a Nintendo switch haha, anyone have any idea what the price will be?

    • Nintendo Switches are excluded

      • but if you click the link you can see the price $449 slashed and it says "found out the hot price tomorrow"

        • Ohh my bad, I'm guessing it would be $399 going by their other deals but could be even better.

        • +1

I heard on the radio it will be $399 tomorrow for Wednesday hump day

        • @doweyy: am worried if I wait too long to get the gift cards off ebay I might not get them in time haha

        • @Jetship:

You could just price match Amazon @ $398 if you're wanting to get the neon another day if it's easier :)

        • Price revealed - $399.

Probably better to purchase through Amazon, unless you have discounted JB Hi-Fi gift cards.
          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/378437

        • @doweyy: It's $399 from the e-mail: https://i.imgur.com/jycb9Ik.png

Also 7.5% corporate discount making it $369. Probably even less for JB employees.

        • @Hybroid: $199 if you still have $200 voucher from Telstra signup.

I didn't get a code, are they targeted? I usually get extra 5% codes during DVD a and cd sales. Or do some emails get later ?

    • Neither

      • Just got code now. But I did renter my email in page linked by op

  • What's the chances the Xbox One X will be $100 off, and then this 5% off code brings it down to $522?

    • +3

Any predictions will only be as accurate as weather predictions.

      • So pretty good?

    • +1

Looks like its 60 bucks off

      • Yeah i got the email. So ~$530 if you use discounted egift cards

        • I'd buy the xbox one x in a heartbeat if it had more exclusives.

  • -1

Wow, so using this, then paying with 7.5% off JB Gift Cards, leads to a 12.125% saving! Thanks OP.

    • Where do you get your 7.5% off? I just tried to log in to my RedEnergy Rewards and it's not working.

      • PM me.

        • +7

This sounds like phishing… Why wouldn't you share that publicly?

        • -2

          @Cubist:

Just remember any discounted gift cards from any non-fully-legit source are probably the result of some granny being defrauded, no matter how friendly or legit the person/website seems.

Millions of dollars lost to iTunes cards fraud. They can only be used in Australia. Where did they all end up?

  • +5

Pardon my ignornance, but where does one get the 7.5% off gift cards?

  • +1

20% off Bluray and DVD. Stack with the code tomorrow for further discount.

    • This !! Time to use the rest of my vouchers - the 20% off has started already!

  • -3

check around the forum and you will find many better than 7.5% off

  • I guess you will have to wait until tomoz to get the code? or has anyone got the code already?

    • I think they'll be sent some time tonight (this has been the case for the past few 5% off Wicked Wednesday offers - sent the night before).

    • Just got the code a few minutes ago.

  • -5

5%??…oh pleeeeease,I don't get out of bed for less than 20%…..
    this is Ozbargains isn't it?

    • you only get about 5-7% with the price hikes on eBay @ 20% sooo no.

  • So glad I bought my switch on the last 5% off storewide sale, think it was just after the Amazon price drop too

  • It also looks like all apple computers except the iMac pro are on sale, the usual 10% off.

what to buy with 5% discount?

  • -1

Can you use this for TV? And what’s the review for that half priced Panasonic TV. Can’t seem to find any on google.

    • +1

Be warned it’s PALsonic, rather than the slightly better known one you mentioned.

In the same boat though - specs of the tv look pretty good. And the sound bar means it surely can’t be ridiculously crap like the other cheap brands.

Posted a thread in the forum hoping to get some thoughts but it seems to be a little used machine

      • Oh wow it actually is PALsonic. Would have doubted the tv less and buy it if it were Panasonic. Now I’m just gonna wait for the answers from your thread :D

      • Palsonic has been around for 30+ years making a wide range of discount electronics. In that time they have never made a decent anything.
The TV comes with a soundbar, not because it is a good one, but because Palsonic wouldn't have had the budget or expertise to fine-tune tiny drivers inside a thin TV case so they are audible. They would have given up and decided to attach the speakers from their left over stock of 1990's portable transistor radios instead and hang it off the front.

    • can you share link for half price tv?

  • Thanks for the post! I only want two 4K Blu-rays, but that's still somethin'!

  • 4k blurays still priced high. Need a 20% double stack. Matrix is a good price though

  • Here you go, may your purchase bring you lasting happiness

  • Purchased a $500 Samsung vacuum 3 days ago, willl Jv refund me the difference?

    • +3

I don't think jv's powers stretch much farther than the cockles of the OzBargain forum.

    • They have done so for me before in similar situation, ask nicely and hopefully you have good luck (I asked to speak to a manager at payment counter)

    • Really, did you bring back the product and was it opened?

  • Love a 20% off

Sucks that the only 4k I want at the moment doesn't get released until next wensday The Incredibles

    First world problems

    • There will be another 20% off sale soon. Probably end of this month. They are as regular as ebay sales, almost.

Just got back from JB, and now I own an Xbox One X woo! Used 7.5% off JB gift cards through ANZ benefits rewardgateway, and purchased those gift cards using mostly gift cards that the Mrs won as certain bonuses through work. I don't even know how much out of pocket I am on it, but probably like $200-300 :D

  • put my email forward this morning. no code yet. anyone have a spare code?

  • Worth noting for anyone looking to pick up some Sony gaming kit that Sony are doing their Days of Play discount promotion from Friday which are likely to yield better discounts. Some prices here, not sure on reliability.

  • Any one have a spare code they'd be happy to share? Still waiting on mine

  • Just checked my email, my code has just arrived.

    • How long did it take to receive after submitting your email?

      • +1

I haven't recently joined. I've been on their subscribers list for a long time and usually receive the discount the evening before. This time I didn't receive my code until this afternoon. They must be sending the codes out at different times. Hopefully everyone will receive their codes in time to use them.

  • Also haven't received a code. Anyone attempt to just get them to discount 5% in-store?

  • +1

Just another code post, Good luck!
