Saw this today at COLES in Carousel (WA). It was a clearance and when I was there late afternoon today, it still has 7 packs left.
Not sure if this is available at other Coles.
Definately will keep the rabbit going and going and going for a long long time.
If you miss these, Woolies have the 20pk (if you can find them as its a deleted line) for $9.98 - everyday price.
The batteries are probably nearing their use by dates and that's why they are cheap.I didn't get a special at my local in vic
Can confirm that these were also in Pinewood Vic Coles about 1 week ago. Still a handful of packets left. Best before date was 2014 so fairly good. Same price. They also had 8pks (+4) of AAA batteries marked down significantly as well to about 50 cents a cell, along with some C + D batteries alos on clearance.
Next time you pop into coles check the battery section :)
Apparently this is a crap deal because here on ozb we only look at the absolute price, quality has nothing to do with it.

I'm with you on this one. 30 Duracells for $13 is a bargain, 60 Evereadys for $10 though is rubbish!!
But that said if anyone actually needs 30 Duracells maybe they ought to be thinking about getting some Eneloops!

I Cleared out the local coles of these, the dates were all 2016 some stores had them on the end of the aisles and some on duracell stands around the counters.
I stand corrected, but I will have to check another coles.
No discount at BNE CBD Coles central stores.

Did you go through the checkout process? When I got them in Tas there was no reduced to clear sign etc, just took them to the counter and they came up as $13.30.
