Part of Amazon AU's Mid Year Sale.

Not as low as the previous MSY deal, but still a pretty good price for this model considering the price from other sellers at the moment (StaticICE price comparison: http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=R7000p&spos=3).

OfficeWorks does list this model, so if you have an OW nearby and if you can find it in stock, the price beat your way to 5% further discount.

  • Hey OP,

Wouldn't this go down further to $175.99 if combined with "AMAZON20". I haven't had a chance to check yet, but that would be a more better deal? I'm interested in replacing my 2nd RMA of the Linksys WRT1200AC, I think the whole wrt1200 series is faulty.

    • Yes it will, although it will require signing up a new account if you've bought something from Amazon already.

I got a nighthawk with ADSL modem built in too. even though it's the same otherwise, there were still almost no firmware updates for it unlike the vanilla version. lots of bugs, single band wifi just stops working for no reason unless you power cycle. Other than that it's the best router I've ever owned. Doesn't even blink at streaming ripped blurays around the home. Downloads at the full 100mbps NBN speeds even on wifi anywhere in the house on any device or console that can handle that speed wifi. This router plus NBN is brilliant. probably even the 1900 would do most people just fine, looking at the specs there.

This brilliant product is victim for VPNfilter malware, do your research before you buy

      • Isnt all devices victim of hacking? All items nowdays have chipset backdoors, just the chipset manufacturers dont tell you.
        Do some more research.

Best to live in the mountains.
