    These Are BRIGHT! I keep little camera bags around the house and in my bug-out-bag with a Xiaomi battery back-up, bendy USB fan, bendy USB light and cable. The one in the Kitchen has one of these as they are bright enough to light the living area in a blackout.

    NOPE - not on the product you linked to.

    In fact, it only aims straight UP in a standard USB port (eg: side of a laptop) so that's pretty frigging useless.

      Good catch but many of us have USB AC chargers in wall sockets and on power-boards where these become more useful (not to mention the back-up battery scenario) not to mention reflected light off the ceiling can be useful for non-reading options.

    This came in handy for me last night when we had a power cut. Plugged it into a 4000mAh power bank and good to go for a wee bit
