PlayStation VR + Camera + VR Worlds + GT Sport $349 @ Target (Instore)

720

Found instore at Target Springwood QLD but I think it is part of the Days of Play sale.

Playstation VR + Camera + VR Worlds + GT Sport - $349
Playstation VR + Camera + VR Worlds + Farpoint - $349 (this one more vague in the ticket but I think the first three items is the "VR Bundle")

Unfortunately, the $349 ticket is not for the PS4 Pro…

Is the VR Worlds bundle the second upgraded version?

    • Seriously important question!

  • from the pic, is that the ps4 pro in the deal?

    • Unfortunately, the $349 ticket is not for the PS4 Pro…

      • oops…should've learnt to read. anyone know if there was a sale on the pro as well anyway?

        • The Days of Playstation sale should start tomorrow, so I'd expect at least something then.

        • @Xianese: would it be best to wait for the days of playstation sale or just get the amazon ps4 for 279?

        • @athna: I think amazon if you're after a PS4. If you're on the fence between a 4 and a Pro then it's a bit of a gamble.

  • Is this Version 2 of the VR headset?

      Nope, they are clearing V1

        Suddenly, less interesting.

Check on box for the product code:

        CUH-ZVR1: means V1

        CUH-ZVR2: means V2

    • $329 is getting there. Would be buying just for Thumper.

    Is it worth playing vr?

    • +1

      If like to know also..

    • Hard to say until you actually use it.
      Different effect on different people.
Some get nauseous/motion sickness, others don't.

Don't do it. Seriously don't. I picked it up cheap in a deal a quite few months ago. It was the v1.

It was fun at first. Had my cousins over and we had some good laughs playing certain games. I thought gt sport would be great on it with my steering wheel. It literally felt like 640x480 resolution. I tried the dreamcast classic on there, Rez, but even that got tiresome.

VR isn't at a point where it's worth it or has longevity. The novelty wears out quickly. Thankfully I sold it after a month. Lost $20.

I could go on and on. I just can't see anyone actively using vr after the first month of use.

.. You might come to this conclusion with Playstation VR v1, but not a refined device like the HTC vive.

  • planning on Buying Zone of the Enders in september …..

might hold off on the V2 ….

I have the psvr and using it in Ps4 slim. The graphics are atrocious.
I don't think it even plays at 480p.
Probably better to have the vr with a pro.

  • I have psvr and its fine with normal ps4, dont know why you think the graphics are atrocious.

NB does the farpoint bundle come with aim controller?

  • Try it out before - I dont get motion sickness with anything but do a little with some games.

Some games are awesome with VR (I do have WMR as well as Ps4 with VR and both are great)

  • EB Games have V2 (called and confirmed) on sale as well for $349. It comes with 3 games though (Worlds, GT and Skyrim)
