if you have some cash then the Mova globes are quite captivating. they are a clear globe with a regular globe inside.. there is a solar collector inside which then makes the interior globe slowly turn. there is no gap between the 2 globes so it looks like the whole thing is rotating. a colleague at work has one.
some people just want to watch the world turn.
I think I'll just save > $200 and just watch the youtube video though…
