The 'R' flavor does not have a unifying receiver. Still a nice keyboard/mouse for the price if you're close to a store.

I find the MK220 is a lot lower quality than the MK270

These are great keyboard/mouse combos - I install heaps for customers. A key benefit to many is the simple presence of F-keys…
A couple of point though:-
1 - I think these still use the nano receiver and NOT the unifying one - they look the same but are different in function. It's only an issue if you want to use multiple devices with a single PC. I also sometimes find it useful to physically locate the receiver near the mouse etc - suspect RFI interference is an issue with NAS boxes, barcode scanners and all the other things you find in Pharmacies etc. (I use an USB extension lead if there's an issue)
2 - some people find the mouse too small.
Great price though!!! I'll buy a few more for stock.
