        I had it open in 4 windows with that set up and had an internet clock open in a fifth and as soon as it hit 5:59.50 I started hitting apply code, counting to 5 and hitting apply code on another window.
        Overkill, maybe, but it worked.

      You didn't really, my guess is the seller is milking some bonus moolah out of the whole ebay plus free postage thing.

      So it shows up as you paying postage but if you look closer that bit is covered by ebay plus voucher.

          @Pulseless: Because the total paid to The Gamesmen is $327. $319 from you and $8 from eBay.

          Kind of the same as when you have a PayPal balance and you pay for an item that is more than that. Invoice will be for the full amount with a split contribution.

          Just wait for the deduction to appear in your bank account before disputing with eBay. I'm sure it'll only be for $319 when it does land in there.

          @netsurfer: Yeah, I joined eBay Plus right before 6pm and then when I went to add the Nintendo Switch to my cart I got the error message "We ran into a problem. Please try again later" when I tried to add the code. Then it went out of stock within a minute or so which was disappointing and kinda dodgy

    Well - so looks like I got the two things I wanted - Dyson and the Quilt.

    eBay did well, pleasently surprised. But let's see if this just a big bang hoo-ha (vs Amazon) and then it goes down the gurgler, or they keep up some crazy bargains on an ongoing basis. They certainly will have to if they want to compete with Amazon Prime.

    I was all set up.

    At 9:00:01, I entered the code "CODE PLUS9PM" for 10 times & didn't work.

    At 9:02:00, I found out it was just "PLUS9PM" 😞

    I saw it was sold out on main page but I tried it anyway. I think it worked & got eBay email & PayPal email.

    Hopefully it won't get cancelled. My Samsung s5 is a little bit laggy.
