WHere did you get your trip from?
Try to find a local reputable company based in Kathmandu before you go and either reach out to them over there or try to contact them prior. There are no shortage of trekking companies in Kathmandu (and Pokhara), the streets are lined with them and they all offer the same thing. Back in 2009 we paid US$40 a day for a guide, porters, accommodation, meals, permits etc for the Annapurna Circuit which was about 3 weeks (we also got told we got ripped off and should've been paying $30 a day). I know Australian travel companies often charge from double to five times as much, but with that you get a bit more predictability in a very unpredictable country.

He will probably give it to you cheaper, but don't abuse these people, since it is there bread and butter. Message me if you want it
