Just be weary, there's two models with nearly the exact same name. Canvio Ready and Canvio Basic. They seem to be the same drive but one of the skus scans up at $89.

      Tiring now.

  • The seagate is also the same price.

Though, this seems to be the standard sale price for these drives.

  • wait for 4t-8t

  • Is this better than the $64 Seagate one from amazon?

I've never had any trouble with the Toshiba drives (we have 7 now across the family) whereas every (and I mean every) Seagate has failed…we stopped buying them after the 3rd one failed just outside of warranty!

      • This has also been my experience

      • One of my seagate external drives died the other day, I bought it in 2011, the other one I bought at the same time is still working. The couple of others are still working.
