Some people with multiple credit cards and accounts have been known to rent multiple DVDs, quite annoying when I'm in the queue behind them. I wonder how many DVDs can a person watch in an evening.

There used to be a weekly code given every Tuesday that you can use every Wednesday. It must've been more popular than they thought, or Oovie just got more greedy, so it's a monthly thing instead now. Oovie sucks.
I just checked the oovie at Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre in Melbourne, Richmond and there are quite a few new releases and other movies
I like Oovie, I used to use them every week with the free Wednesday code, but I now watch digital downloads, over itunes, free to air recordings, etc, so my DVD player is not actually plugged in anymore… A sign of the times I guess.
Never seen a Oovie machine here. It actually sounds alright .. better than the mail rental places .. ffs they are so slow to post. It wasn't worth the money.
yeah, my dvd player hasn't been used much lately, and i used to get the weekly free movie, but then they sent the "we're shaking things up a bit" email, i.e, no more weekly!
ps @davo_4, i agree with you, i always noticed my local Oovie machine had less new releases than the other dvd machine(which gave you only the first dvd rental free), and if it did have something interesting, it was faulty every other day!
My local Oovie machine is always broken down and when you call the 1300 number they say they expect it to be working the next day but never is…
So you are put out by having to go back the following day to return it or you get the late fees…
I feel sorry if I owned this one that kept breaking down because as a franshise you would be losing much money..

Hey I rented one By mistake as I forgot to enter the code as I had a line behind me and pressure was on and the other disk I got for free has a scratch and will not play…!! Typical lol
Odd, I checked the Oovie contents of my local machines yesterday and today there are hardly any left, I doubt they are all gone in a few hours. I suspect Oovie and pulling back the amount available on free wed. (unless it's just the online resevation system being stuffed).
